kittybride,
I booked the bali trip 4D3N through goholiday ( air asia) and will stay in the Vira Bali hotel (saw tons of compliments from the traveller on this hotel). THe package inclusive bfast for two which cost me around RM2010. Besides, hotel offer a free spa if u stay up to 2nites. I have DIY my tour itenary in Bali and contacted one of the guy in Bali to bring me around. He charged me USD45/day( Toyota kijang) with no limitation on the duration. if u rent a car with the driver, they wil charge USD45 - USD60 ( based on the type of car) with the duration of 8 hours.
This guywill also in charge for my dolphin tour which cost me USD10. So i booked another hotel in Lovina for the purpose of the dolphin tour.
Hope the information above will help. If you want more information, please send me an email. :)

Kittybride,
I forgotten to mention that Hard Rock Hotel in Bali not that "good" as what you think. My colleagues told me the only good thing about this hotel is the swimming pool only ..
1st Day –
- will be check in to the hotel around 2-3pm. After check in , visit Tanah Lot coastal temples. After that go to Jimbaran bay having sunset seafood.
2nd day – Kintamani Volcano tour
- stop at Batubulan and celuk, Mas for the handicraft and museum then Ubud. On the way back stop at Tampaksiring visit Goa Gajah.
3rd and 4th day– ( two choices , either water rafting or north bali tour which include the dolphins tour)
- Bedugul tour and stay overnite at one of the resort in Livona Beach , morning go out to sea to see the dolphins and then pack and back to kuta which will by pass Pupuan, Banjar. Arrive at Kuta at noon
I didn't choose water rafting as we have this in M'sia. Don't go to Monkey Forest and the monkey are very fierce there and nothing to see beside monkey. Taman AYun is not a recommended place to go also.

Hi Fusionista,
Yes, there are dolphins in Bali and according to my colleague, it's natural habitat.
Hi Bumblebee,
At first i also want to book Hard Rock, but heard some bad comments on it from my friends. So i just change my mind and found this hotel Vira Bali. U know that singaporean ppl are kinda picky rite.. haha but this hotel surprisingly received tons of compliments from singaporean. So i just go for it! The best hotels are located at Nusa Dua, maybe u can check it out before u book for it.

yoyo.. aiyo.... can't believe that we are going into the same flight! We are not going there for honeymoon, booked this trip as it's pretty cheap and we tempted to go there long time back.
wow... RM2k++ for 9 pax , that's pretty cheap. I booked through the goholiday and that time there wasn't any promotion on the fare. Few weeks after that, air asia launch a promotion :(
So which hotel u will be staying in?

i juz came back from honeymoon in Bali.. 5D4N, about RM2K per person..
it's a honeymoon package, ie the local tour is oni the 2 of us, the tour guide with the driver.
package include 1 night in Lembongan Island Coconut Beach Resort. I would recommend this island trip.. we had lotsa fun here!
the resort has a slight feel of santorini island, oso got 2 infinity pools. But dont expect 5star hotel facilitis.
2 nights in Athena Garden Villa, privatte villa with private pool & outdoor bath. Facilities is good
1 night in Adhi Dharma Resort, place is nice... but facilities noy very good. doesnt reli matter coz we were there for less than 12 hours.
we din reli go tour around bali... oni place we went was Tanah Lot! don't miss out this place.
the tour guide brought us to a place for dinner (paid on our own) I think it's called River Seafood Restaurant.. chinese seafood. the best i've tasted in bali.

Athena,
So other that Bakso and Soto , is there any place that we can have a romantic dinner? One of my colleague just came back from Bali. She told me Jimbaran Sunset seafood dinner is a must go , environment is nice.
I watched the Amazing Race Asia and came to know about Bakso. Bowl of noodle with some local recipe source and kinda famous in Indonesia. I think i really have to give it a try. Thanks!

Hi
Me and my husband just came back from bali last week. I agreed tat jimbaran is a very romantic place for dinner, but the food there is so so. Heard that Sharkey's seafood is not bad. (din try there as the seafood dinner is arranged by the tour agency.
We spend 5 days 4 nites in Bali of which 3 nites in kuta and 1 nite in tanjong benoa. I will recommend u all to stay in tanjong benoa as it is a quieter place than kuta. Tanjong benoa is a nice place for couples and families to rest and relax. At the beach there, u can catch the sunset.
I will suggest that u all plan your own route and ask the driver to bring u there. Coz the driver will normally bring u to their friend's shops to push u to do some shopping. During our trip, we already know where we wanna go so we just hired a driver and ask him to drive us to the places. We started off at 8am and ended the day at 6pm and it cost us bout 350000RP. If u want his contacts, do drop me a msg.
In bali, there is alot of places to do shopping. If u r staying in Kuta, there is an art market. Just remember to bargain and bargain. Another place to shop for is sukawati, i think its about 30 mins drive from kuta and things can be cheaper there.
For food, i will highly recommend u to eat roast pig there. Its very nice. Its at Ubud and the shop name is IBU OKA. Its a popular place as many tourists go there. :P

This driver cum guide is called Sila, his number is 081 239 161 02, i dunno wat number u have to add if u r calling from malaysia. His email is yomansila@dps.centrin.net.id
His is a quiet and friendly man. My husband and i like his service as he is not too "talkative" like other guides. So it depends on ur preference.
For him, his service also no time limit. He actually quote us a higher price but we bargain to 350000... maybe u can bargain lower. Maybe u let him know the duration u wanna hired him, tell him only 2 of u travelling then u can bargain. ( U can let him know that April from spore gave u his contacts.
At the end of the trip, my husband gave him 30000 extra i think coz of his good service. We end off the day by asking him to drop us at an restuarant for dinner.
We hired him to bring us to Sukawati, kintamani, ubud, spa in ubud, kuta.
