Dear bride and groom to be/be,

Hi. My AD on 2 June 2007. My FH and myself are looking for semi/fully-funished house for our relatives from outstation to stay during our AD. We are looking for house in area CHERAS or SRI PETALING for renting two nights for our relatives to stay.

I am wondering if in Cheras area there is any this type of house for renting two or three nights? I had been stayed in this type of rented house for two nights in Raub, Pahang AND Seberang Prai, PP. This is how I got to know there is this type of house available. Hope you guys able to furnish me some contact so that I could make the arragement ASAP.

Thanks in adance.

Hi,

I'm looking for serviced apartment around KL to be my 'chut mun' place since I don't want to travel from Ipoh to KL on my AD. I found two along Jalan Ampang, Sucasa and Holiday Villa. Any other good recommendation? Hopefully not too expensive...

Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you so much, Cutiepiggie, Tiffany, Bumblebee and Kathie.

Do you think it's ok to 'chut mun' from serviced apartment? Do you they mind the noise in the morning ah? I mean with all the noise playing the heng tai...Do you think I need to tell the management that I'm getting married that day and to expect a bit of crowd?

Bumblebee, you name so many...which one do you think has the best environment with reasonable price?

Kathie, do you think they allow to fit 20 ppl? Will they mind the noise?

Tiffany and Cutiepiggie, I will definitely check out your recommendation. Thank you.

jenniko,

nowadays, very normal to chut mun from apartment/hotel rooms smile.gif

overall the ones i mentioned i think is medium to high range. i didn't mention a few others coz i think it's not really worth it, like the Suitestay, based on my own experience.
anyway, the best enviroment is definitely the ascott smile.gif quite pricey, but sometimes u get really really good deals, like mine last time was Rm600 for 3BR. the group has some other svcd residence elswhere in KL too, maybe u can check out their website. this group is definitely reliable coz stayed in different countries before and all never disappoint.

my cousin came back overseas and chose to put up at micasa for his wedding. nice, quiet and convenient (close to everything). price was reasonable too.

PNB darby park also nice. went up there to meet a friend of mine who stayed there for a job in KL for one month. an expat i knew who stayed at Lanson Place along Jalan Ampang liked the place very much as he said it felt homely, haha, so dunno if it suits u.

the rest i mentioned were highly recommended by others.

You can check out www.kl-hotels.com or www.the-ascott.com

Micasa is very nice... cosy and quiet... suitable for chut mun... it is about rm200-300 only for a big room...

Thank you Bumblebee for more advise. Will sure look more into them and compare.

Stpeiyee, I also heard that Ascott is nice. Now Citibank has promotion especially with Ascott. That's how I heard about it.

Babysiew, thank you. I also hope to find one suitable. I have a cousin working with IGB but I don't really want to trouble her la. Anyway, now I'm considering Tiffany's recommendation. Whole double storey house to ourselves. Sound good deal. Now I'm thinking how many days I want. Must ask my mum first lor. Will let you know.

Thank you everyone for your recommendation/advice.

agree duta vista has bigger rooms adn cheaper but wats the point. i had been there a month ago to check their condition. the condition of the rooms appalled me. Look very old and dirty service apartments. if you are having chut mun i really suggest either pnb darby park or the ascott. PNB park is quite expensive one thousand over for 3 bedrooms with breakfast

i'm not sure whether MAYA hotel (jln ampang) has the service apartment, u may try and enquire

Cutiepiggie,

Yakeh? Never knew that they have penguin...Pity them la...how can they survive here...so hot...

All in all, I think the best to me is Ascott...saw someone's photos showing her chut mun from Ascott...really very nice...i think i like their deco and ambience...sigh...quite expensive though...RM400 per day...do you think worth it?

Ho Jenniko,

You can try Somerset Seri Bukit Ceylon, its the sister serviced apartment of Ascott. Its newer as it opened in January 2006. Its located behind Hotel Istana. The rates for Somerset is cheaper and newer than Ascott. Ascott is already at least 5 years old. But it still looks nice.

Hihi,

Actually i also from outstation and need to chut mun from KL also, anyone got any ideal where can i get in PJ, Subang or Shah Alam?
For me, i dont plan to stay in hotel. I dont like the atmosphere in hotel, so cold and so quiet.... dont really like the feeling..
i got something in my mind but doesnt know whether is it work or not. So you guys please share your comments with me!

i notice from the newspaper advertisement that, normally some ppl got rent out their house with fully furnish one right? while they havent get someone to rent their house, why no they just rent it to me abt 2-3days and it wont cost us so much right? Normally fully furnish will be around 1-2k per month. if only for few days then it will be cheaper right?

gals, What do you think abt it?

Theresa wink.gif
