  1. Hi MayMay, congrats! When will your PS be? Mine is just around the corner. :) Selected my gowns 2 weeks back. As far as I know, the photographer will be allocated accordingly. Aspial as a new branch in KL and I heard quite a number of them have been transferred there. I really cannot help much here, however, I will be able to advise more after my PS :) Thanks, cheers. Hi Yogurt, Thanks in advance. I just to firm my PS date cos my wedding date also yet to confirm :(.. so many headache to deal with.. What packages u choose? Hi MayMay, what headaches? Regarding the wedding? I have already taken my PS. I took the Princess package. It was the deal during their promotional fair at Gurney last year September. The princess gown is really huge and heavy! Overall, the shooting is fun and exciting..:) but very tiring at the same time. Hahahaha..I enjoyed it a lot. I think they have a few photographers and MUA, so I cannot really comment much as I have not viewed my photos yet. Not sure about the effect and outcome. Hope they will be nice. A little worried though. Will your wedding be this year? I know many are rushing for this year simply because they believe next year is not gonna be a good year. :) I am a so-called banana-gal..hehe..I am not really into this. Hahaha.. Cheers, me
  2. Hi Amy, would you mind sharing with me too? Kindly PM me. Thanks. Cheers, me
  3. I have been reading up on diamonds and it seems quite interesting. Just brushing up my knowledge a little before I go and scout for the diamond ring so that I will not be cheated :) So far, I have only been to OE and was given quotes on a few rings that I had interest in. However, they do not really have a specific one that I want, maybe I will be designing and customising for my FH and myself. :) Few other shops that I would like to visit would be Love&Co and GoldHeart since I see quite a few of you actually recommended them. I will share more when I have really started my research and scouting process. Hehe.. Thanks, cheers.

  5. I would simply say, it all depends on individual. If you think the price you are paying is worth, why not? This is a one-time thingie in life, and as long as both the husband and wife like the bridal house be it the gowns, the service, the designs or the photographing skills and as long as you have bargained and requested for the items and preference that you want, there should be no regrets whatsoever! Thanks, cheers.

  7. Hi Mei Teoh, I totally understand. No worries. Thanks. Cheers Me
  8. Hi JessyD..Gong Xi Gong Xi!!! noted, I think I sort of get what you mean de on the outlook thingie. For me, if the effect is different does not matter much, as long as the photos turn out to be nice and captured based on our requirements. :) Yeah, I think their salesperson are trained to say things differently to suit individuals and the situation. I don think there are any honest sales person in any part of the world lor, to be frank. :p Hmm..you must be filled with excitement now. For me, I'll be choosing the gowns in March, which is next month but I am feeling excited de..and doing a little research on the matching of gowns to the accessories, suitable hair pcs, poses, etc. I am currently staying in Penang now cos my FH is from Penang. My wedding day is on Oct 18th. Wanna say far, it is not that long though, wanna say near, however I feel that the day will not come..hahaha...All sort of mixed feelings...But definitely would want everything to turn out as planned. A lot of my friends are getting married this year too! I have checked out on a few photographers too, but have not really gone in-depth yet. The planning has been put on hold at the mean time. :) Economy is not looking good..haha... Cheers, me
  9. Wow MT, looks nice. I did try but kinda failed a little on the dough. I think I've put in too much flour. But the taste not bad for first timer. May I know how you made the jam? Can you share the recipe? I used only canned pineapple, icing sugar and lemon and boil over fire till it thickens. The dough has to be soft and not crumbly is it? I am not too sure of the right texture. Do advise. Thanks. I will want to try again Cheers, me
  10. Hi Jessy, yeah I had a look early last 2 weeks on the platinum gowns. Actually I would say dat they are affordable, mostly. I saw one nice evening gown for the price of RM900...I think this one will leave it last. I am anxious on the gown selection for my PS in April. Just afraid photos will not turn out natural. I actually spoken to Kenneth during the sign-up but was told that he was transferred to KL, so they will be getting me another one. I am not so sure of the skills as we have not seen this person. However, you did mention diff outlook with photo outlok. What does that mean? You will use them for actual day PS as well? Cheers, me Hai ~ Jsssy and yyogurt , cant i ask one que ? its the aspial wedding packages hv including the wedding actual day photohgrapher or not ? hv this promotion ?? Hi PingPing, soree for da late reply. Been busy with CNY preparations...:) To answer to your question, as far as i know, they did mention to me that they do not provide actual day photography. However, they do have dealings with all the events management companies and they do have connections to these people. They are able to provide some contacts if you were to ask from Aspial. I am searching for photographers as well on my own. I can recommend a few if you are interested. Cheers Me
  11. Hi BG, I am planning to bake some pineapple rolls for coming CNY which is 3 weeks away. Came across your ingredient and thought would give it a try. Have not done this before. Just a few queries before I proceed :) 1) Beat all (does this mean butter, vanilla, icing sugar and 2 eggs? 2) Then next step to fold in dry ingredient i.e flour and milk powder? 3) After the dough has been made, does it need to be wrapped in plastic foil and refrigerate? If yes, how long? Thanks, cheers me
  12. No worries. I think the prices are basically the same for all the BS, based on the stuff that they offer us. Most of the additional costs are based on top-ups of photos. Hubby and I plan to buffer additional 1K plus for the top-ups. Hopefully my photos will turn out nice. Hahaha...It is situated at macalister road next to the famous 'sisters char koay teow'. Hmmm...wedding day should be something that both of you wanted. It is your big day, so I reckon you should not give in too much to other ppl's convenience as how many of them would you be able to tolerate? Once decided, just move on. :) Happy planning! Cheers Me

  14. Hi there..congrats! For me, I signed up for 'Aspial'..the design layout and photography is extremely wonderful. However, judging on gowns, I would give credit to Star-East and Blissful. :) Beautiful, elegant and lots of variety. :) Cheers Me
