  1. Just to share, I have been using BB cream from various brands for the past 2 years. Some good, some so so and makes my face very oily. I have combo skin and lately have developed acne problem so have stopped using all. The last I tried was Bobbi Brown BB cream a few months back. Pretty good texture, feels more like liquid foundation. Have tried Face Shop and Skin79 too, both ok.
  2. Angel, There's no shortcut to weight loss and there will never be..unless you go for liposuction <_< Express diet programs, like 3-days or 2 weeks programs have been around for ages. All these programs sound good and impressive, but many independant research have proven that the only thing that you lose from these crash diets are body water. These diet dehydrates your body of essential nutrients , not to mention precious water content. My advice is, eat a balance diet...moderate portions and put in 30mins of moderate exercise 3-4 times a week. I bet you'll see and feel the difference in no time.
  3. Ladies, I feel sorry for those who are left in a lurch with the previous mgmt of YZ. As a fitness professional myself, I do hope this chapter will not deter people from continuing their healthy lifestyle.
  4. Hello All, I'm sorry to hear that most of you got 'cheated' by such slimming centres. The problem is , all of these so called 'Consultants' are not qualified to give proper body analysis and evaluation. They are just trained to sell and use a few 'scare' tactics and phrases. For example, one forummer said the Consultant told her that hard muscles are harder to lose compared to soft muscles. I really laughed and rolled on the floor upon reading that. You need muscles to burn fat, be it long slim muscles or big bulky ones. I strongly encourage ladies who plan to lose weight to think about exercising and a healthy lifestyle instead of these time/money wasting quick slimming gimmicks.
  5. Hi Jas227, U can try to Cenosis, 1 of my friend went there(mid valley branch). She losed 8kg. First of all, I'm a trained and certified fitness professional and I totally agree that going to slimming centres are just waste of money. The truth is, they make you lose body water rather than fat. Worst, some slimming centres put you through some whacky diet which causes you to lose muscle mass as well due to poor nutrition. My cousin sister paid almost RM8K in total to a well known slimming centre (the one that always have full page adverts la :) ) to lose weight for her wedding 1 year ago, the results was so so..and she gained back all her weight after only 2 months of her wedding, even though she tried her best to watch her diet. The best way to lose weight and stay slim and healthy is through exercise and balanced diet. This has been confirmed by researches all over the world. If you look at developed countries, you don't see many of these slimming centres around as opposed to Malaysia (just check out Damansara Uptown..LOL) . The reason is..because ppl already know they don't work. I am willing to give free advice to any ladies here who wish to lose weight / stay healthy through proper exercise and balanced dieting. Just give me a tinker :)
