  1. Hi, You can try learning from MissChievous on youtube too. http://www.youtube.com/user/MissChievous I recently bought the 120 palette eye color for a very affordable price on ebay after recommendation from MissChievous. very good quality and very pigmented despite the affordability. You can check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKRLdFABhxw I am using Mac brushes which is really good esp no 239 and 224 (for blending). Also the Mac no 187 is really good for applying foundation and blush. There are a lot of reviews on these brushes on youtube which you can search. Last week Mac was having promos on their brushes, RM 250 for a set of 5 brushes, they have 3 different sets which is a very good price as usually each will cost RM100+. Not sure if the promo is still on as it was on while stock last basis. All the best :) If you understand cantonese, you can try learning from BeautyQQ as well: http://www.youtube.com/user/BEAUTYQQ She's cute and funny (esp with her dog, fergie) and sometimes she gives very good tips :) Enjoy!
  2. Hi! Can share with me too? email: ade.lees@gmail.com Thanks.

  4. Hi, I am jsut reading this magazine with some homemade masks for dry/chapped skin. Maybe you can try? Myself have oily skin so will try the ones recommended for oily skin :) Do let me know how it goes if you try! For dry/chapped skin: - An egg yolk mixed with olive oil and warmed honey - whole carrot blended into carrot sauce mixed with one egg yolk. - avocado mashed and one egg yolk For oily skin: - Puree flesh of a tomato and mix with some potato flour to make a paste - Egg whites beaten with a few drops of lemon juice. This is also great for getting rid of blackheads - cucumber. It will whiten your skin and can also be used in sliced form on the eyes to help decrease puffiness and dark circles.
  5. Hi Ling, Below is the recipe: Ingredient for dough: 250gm Flour 125gm Butter 2 tablespoon Milk Powder 50gm icing sugar 1 Egg Ingredient for egg syrup: 3 eggs 75 gm Sugar 150gm Milk 1) Beat the 3 eggs slightly, be sure not to hard to ensure less bubbles. 2) Cook the beaten eggs with sugar and milk on very low fire. Be sure it does not boil. Just make sure the sugar are all melted. 3) After all sugar are melted, remove from heat and leave to cool 4) Mix all ingredients for dough and mix well by hand. 5) Take small pieces enough to fit the mould and shape to small balls and put onto mould. 6) Bake the pastry at 150 degrees for 15-20 minutes 7) Sieve egg mixture that has cooled so that it will be smooth and pour them into the baked pastry. 8) Put into Oven to bake for another 15-20 Minutes 9) Done! The tarts did not rise as per your recipe. I think probably has to do with the temperature. I made a mistake and used cake flour (which I was told later, has some rising agent) so my pastry was too thick! haha Will try to make it again this weekend.
  6. Hi hi! My first attempt at baking since a long long time. I tried the Japanese Cheesecake and also egg tart. Japanese Cheesecake - Not as fluffy and cotton soft as the real thing but tasted OK. Egg tarts - Am not very good at lining the dough into the mould so the crust was a bit too thick haha, looks like a plate more than a bowl!! but in the pictures it looks really nice hahah Definitely need more practise :)
  7. Hi! Seeing you guys here really inspire me. Planning to try my hands in baking. Waiting for the new oven to arrive next week :) tainhui: I love that cheesecake. Can share with us the recipe? Thanks.

  9. Hi survivor, Thanks :) I answered your questions below. You're welcome :)
  10. Sorry, Am not sure what's wrong with the link but I have emailed you the mirror site :) I can't remember the name of my photographer, but I was saying I went with 2 other friends, and all 3 of us have no complains la. We requested to have some photos taken as a group in casual wear and in WG. They complied with no complains.
  11. Hi! I have emailed you the link to my photos and you can watch my MV there as well. Enjoy! aisumono, I went to Mona Lisa HK with 2 of my frens so all our albums and frames were couriered together to one address at HKD 1000, I am not sure how much it cost if for individual. You can check with the SA. I took the package HKD 13888 but I added the MV, flowers, etc in Hong Kong. They do not categorise their gowns by old or new. The have 2 lines, one is Priam (which is French design) and the normal line. For my package, i was entitled to 1 Priam WG (studio), 2 WG and 2 EG. But i find their normal wedding gown is not bad also. You can view their WG at MDWH shop. Reason I chose MDWH was cos I want something different, not only in design and style of photos and albums but also in the experience. The yacht was a big attraction as well as for local BS outdoor shooting, we always see the limited choice of venue (eg FRIM, Putrajaya, TTDI etc). And we were happy with our choice. Service was superb during beofre and after the PS. I'm sure the rest will tell you as well that we were treated like kings and queens. My hubby and I totally enjoyed the experience. No regrets. survivor, I chose Mona Lisa cos I find France Bridal very fairy tale like (prince and princess feel), which I personally don't really like. I prefer more modern styles. I heard they renovated and have more styles now. I was there in May 07 so a lot must have changed :) fishie123, Your fren went to Mona Lisa in HK? That's funny cos for each gown we can choose different hairstyles we want, and pose however we want. no restrictions at all. I know that some HK BS will restrict your pose for different scenes but Mona Lisa definitely do not. I changed 5 gowns and 5 different hairstyles and everything the MUA finished with me, my PG will come over and take a photo and show me. He will ask am i satisfied, or anything I want to change before we proceed? That's the kind of service I am talking about.
  12. Hi all have sent link through PM. Enjoy :)

  16. Hi yuangfoong/Ah 3, I have send the link to you by email. Do give comments yea? Thanks.
  17. Hi Icefire, Sorry to hear that. I believe you can try to talk to them for a reshoot. Do a comparison of your album with the ones you saw that you liked. Tell them it's totally different from what you wanted. But really, if they refuse then there's pretty much nothing you can do except to go to Consumer Tribunal. Do share with me your photos. ade.lees@gmail.com. Thanks.

  20. Hi Valerie, Sorry for late reply. I can't remember the photographers name but I believe all of them are good. I went with 2 other couple frens and all 3 of us have diff PG but all the photos turn out really good. Car deco and flowers for AD are not included. I source for them myself. I like it better this way then I can have them the way I want it. If included in package, tends to have restrictions. Hope above is of help :)
