1. Hi newbee, there must be some misunderstanding, it is impossible Putrajaya Hospital do not have that service. You should double check Or you live too far? I heard before they need to turn down people due to over crowded, seriously many people want to deliver there. It's so hard to get 4 bedded room, sometimes they are asked to go Serdang/Kajang Hospital because no bed available. You may go to Klinik Kesihatan for monthly check up, not necessarily hospital. When deliver only go to hospital.
2. Yeah, if natural delivery 6 times, problem is need to go there during confinement. If C-sect, satu kali je. The urut lady also can come to your house with charges. How much is depends on where you live. Just go to registration counter and tell them you want to register for FPP, first time need to pay registration fees, I think RM10. They will ask you if you have preferences on the specialist. Better go after 12pm, morning is too crowded. Although FPP patient can cut queue but gynea might not able to spend longer time with you due to the number of patients. Other hospital with FPP you can consider are Selayang Hospital, HUKM and Sg. Buloh Hospital. Which one is nearer to you?
3. HUKM also has FPP, is HUKM or Putrajaya Hospital closer to where you live? My experience with Putrajaya Hospital was above my expectation, I met very kind and experienced nurses & doctors. Don't have to worry about the bed, but bear in mind I delivered there more than 6 months ago. This is my first and only child so I don't do comparison with other hospitals/clinics. I have my reasons for choosing this hospital, and I might have different views from others. Other factors I chose Putrajaya Hospital including it is a baby friendly hospital, also it comes with free urut session. Yes have to take care of baby myself (actually hubby jaga la ) after deliver but nurses are around 24X7 ready to serve you. My bill came to ~3k, 3 days 2 nights stay.
4. I delivered my baby via c-sect in Putrajaya under FPP this year January. You may choose from 4 specialist, I chosen Dr. Hamidah, she is a good. FPP cost more but it is definitely cheaper than private hospital. I have no complains on the services at all but then its all depends on individual. Get to stay in 5th floor executive room, nurses are friendly and helpful. Still need to jaga own baby but if you need anything just ring the bell. Facilities are excellent, the rooms are well maintained. There is a reclining chair for husband or family to stay overnight. Hope these helps. May I know what is your expectation? Have you delivered in other hospital(s) before?
5. I've seen different pricing (huge gap) for the same item - they using the same pictures from their distributors. Secondly I have concern about their quality. Some are not honest, saying they sell genuine goods when it is not. There are too many online shops selling baby's stuff, would appreciate if moms here can recommend a genuinely good seller.
6.

Hi do u mind to share on how to use d pump? Had problem using it.. Thks! May I know what is your problem using the pump? Is it assembling the pump? No no.. Not assembly.. When I start pumping, I feel tat not much milk I can pump, but when BB suck, got milk.. So I wonder is it I dunno how to use d pump.. There is a technique to use the pump, you can refer to the manual, that is the rhythm. You should start with quick and short stroke, then when your milk begin to flow, you only need to hold the handle. The actions are mimicking baby's suction, that is to trigger the let down first then the milk will start to flow. Try this again see if it's work for you Many people thought it's the pump problem, including myself until I read the manual again and google for the technique.
7. I delivered via c-section, have been breastfeeding exclusively since day 0 Latching on directly after the c-section (like just 1 hour after that) was a bit difficult as I was shivering from the drugs but the midwife help carry my baby and my hubby held me down as I was trembling non stop. Next few times after that was better. I did buy a breast pump before deliver, but i hardly express during confinement month, direct feeding is recommended. Me too had c-sect, been breastfeeding exclusively for more than 7 months now. It is possible that you are getting your colostrum slower, but that really depends on individual, usually ftm face that. For my case, colostrum came on 3rd day, new born doesn't need much when they are just born. Stay positive, you know what is best for you and baby.

9. Freestyle is good for it's mobility, if you don't like the feeling to lug around a huge pump, this is what you want. The pump is only your palm size, memory button is useful, the timer comes in handy. I find the freestyle kit is a bit convoluted, some people enjoy using it. I've been using for about 5-6months now, definitely a good investment for me. If you buy it from overseas, it is much cheaper but local warranty is void. There are differences between UK/US/M'sia set - http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-51rvC875tAY/TXyE...BComparison.jpg Hope this helps.
