  1. Hi ladies, Any of you use the above sterilizer? Was wondering if you could give me some basic instructions because it was handed down to me without the instruction manual... Thanks in advance. :)
  2. Hi girls... Any of you can recommend a good and reliable maid agency? :) I'm looking to hire a Cambodian maid for my parents so they can focus on the baby while the maid help them with the housework. We have been to a few agencies in the past few weeks but found that they weren't so honest or don't have Cambodian biodata available now. Appreciate your feedback! :) Thanks in advance.
  3. Normally the heartbeat should be seen by 8 to 10 weeks, from what I have read? I'm not too sure how caplang your GP's machine is but I think you should see a gynae to reassure yourself. :)
  4. Garezma: What did you see prior to 5 months then? The gynae couldn't tell if its a boy or girl yet, or did he mention girl? :) VV: Thanks! Yes, 16 weeks pregnant. :) Should be able to see clearly right? But no worries, will wait for next check up at 20 weeks to confirm. :)
  5. I think the machines in bigger hospitals should be crystal clear... :) Garezma, when did you manage to see your boy's bits? :)
  6. Hahaha... Thanks for all the feedback, ladies. I was just trying to pull a joke saying baby is abnormal if penis develops later, i.e. small small bird. Hahaha. :) But for the record, my baby was in a very good position during the scan, i.e. legs wide opened ~ the typical potty shot position, so likely it won't be a mistake... Unless his penis has yet to develop. :)
  7. Hmmm... But the gynae mentioned that at 4 months, you should be able to see his penis quite clearly if he's a boy. If it develops later does it mean he's abnormal in some way? :p
  8. Hi ladies! :) Just did my 4 month ultrasound and amongst others, the gynae scanned for baby's gender. Seems that he couldn't not see a penis (although he said if it is a boy, you should be able to see it quite clearly now) so he said most likely its a girl. :) Just like to ask around all the mummies here from their experience in the gender ultrasound... Is this 4 month ultrasound accurate and is it possible for the penis to only develop later? Thanks in advance! :)
  9. After a long episode of guessing and anticipation, my 8 week pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. I undergone a d&c last week and was wondering for those who went through the same thing, how long after the d&c did your periods come and was it regular thereafter? Thanks in advance for sharing.
  10. Yeah, looks like I got all the negative symptoms... :( I was off for 1 week, and rest in bed, but that didn't seem to help with the bleeding.
  11. Hi girls... Just like to check if any of you experience bleeding during first trimester and beyond? I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant and my bleeding started at 6 weeks (I've been bleeding for more than a week now). It is not spotting but bleeding, the bleeding only comes once or twice a day while the rest of the day its dry. Colour is brown + red. My gynae said its pretty normal as the sac is not "sticking" properly to the wall yet... He gave me 2 jabs of Proluton but that didn't stop my bleeding and I'm currently on Duphaston (2 tabs a day) as well. For those of you who have bleeding issues, appreciate if you could share with me the frequency, how long each bleeding lasts, what made it stop, or any other points which you think may be relevant? Thanks so much, as I'm really worried about this.
  12. I am also a very kan cheong person... Hehehe. But I did my fair share of reading before I started to panic, and found that sometimes its because the fetal's heart just started beating ~ that's why slow a bit. We shall know the truth next week during my next scan. Meanwhile, appreciate if any mothers reading this listened to their baby's heartbeat at 6 - 8 weeks let me know what the heart rate per minute is... Thanks in advance! :)
  13. Ally's Mom: Is it low given that baby is only 6 weeks? Does it pick up over time? This is my best and only hope for now. As for my gynae, he is a recommended and reputable one... Sigh. Maybe my next option is to see Dr Raman ~ heard and read a lot about his talent.
  14. But that's not really accurate right? Mmm... No worries, I'll probably wait till next week to see the gynae. :)
  15. Thanks for all your replies and comfort. :) My gynae asked me to go back next week (8 weeks) to check. Hopefully everything's alright... Sigh!
