  1. Hi everyone! Me and my girlfriend have gone to JPN for the officer to check our form (we paid 20 bucks) and took an oath in front of the commissioner of oath on the 8th July. But we are going only to submit the form to our assistant of registrar on the 19th September and we are planning to have our ROM on the 20th October. Does the oath still valid, I wonder? Please help. Thank you.
  2. Hi, I heard from a friend that now the Goverment has implemented a new marriage procedure and we have to go to the JPN office even though we have an assistant registrar to handle our marriage registration. I have a few questions in mind. 1) What is the purpose of implementing such procedure? How the procedure is being done? 2) what documents do we need to bring along when we go to the JPN office? 3) Do we need to wait very long at the JPN office? 4) how many times do we need to go to the JPN office? We already got an assistant registrar. We dont want to go to the JPN office so many times. It is not efficient. 5) Can it be done at any JPN office? I would appreciate if anyone is able to provide any information regarding this issue. Please help..!!! thank you very much!
  3. I am from Cheras & my girlfriend is from Kuantan but both of us are currently staying in Subang Jaya. 1) Can we register at JPN Cheras or any JPN centres in Subang Jaya without changing our IC addresses? 2) If cant, then how many times we have to go back to Kuantan to settle the application and registration? 3) Both of us are christians, we thought of registering first, then only have a ceremony in the church after 2 yrs, is this possible? 4)Is there any place where we can do everything in KL, though my girlfriend is from different state? 5) Other than churches, temples and JPN centres, any one places where we can do our ROM? 6) I heard Wisma MCA got do ROM, is the process something like what is in JPN? We doesnt want to change our IC addresses at the moment but we are renting & staying at a house in Subang. We find it hard to go back to cheras or Subang often because of our work commitment. As I know, during the application we must fill in the address written on your IC (correct if iam wrong). Will the goverment send us something( say marriage cert or some documents) to the IC address? Thank you and God bless you all!
