  1. Hi Charis, I'd like to know about your MUA too! Could you PM me her contact and website too? If she does not have a website, can I have your pictures please? :) Since you said it's worth it, I don't mind paying for her transportation fees to KL :) Thank you!
  2. Hi Humour Girl, Sorry just saw your reply! Thanks for sharing your opinion :) Yup I thought so too, since KG PG's style is more faraway shoot, if ask them to take close up the photos might not turn out nice. I'm still not sure whether I wanna put KG in my list of options.. Hmm. Will let you guys know once I decide with fiance :) Thanks!
  3. Hi Hinika, Wow, you have such beautiful pictures!! Me Dream Wedding is good! May I know your package price please? And also how much was your expenses in HK roughly? Appreciate if you could share with us here or PM me. Thank you so much! :)
  4. Hi CFA, Wow, really? Thanks so much for the info! This could save us a few hundred bucks I heard from a hotel that even weddings gotta apply for MACP (if our wedding is done in hotel), I think that is if a hire a band is it? Meaning if we just have our friend as a guitarist then it wouldn't be a problem? Anyhow I will contact these companies when things are more firmed up. Thank you so so much for your help! Appreciate it
  5. Hi Jacky, Thank you for your valuable advice! May I know where can I apply the MACP and PPM? I don't think we will be hiring any professional bands due to budget constraint. But we would be having short session of singing (most probably with guitar and amp). Do we still need the MACP? Thank you so much for your help! Appreciate it
  6. Hi Woman, I'm having the same idea as you! My fiance and I found a nice secluded garden in my housing area and thought that it would be the perfect simple venue for our garden wedding. Don't think it's as nice as the TTDI park but it's near to my house so it's great Have you found out how to go about applying for those permits? If yes could you share with me please? Appreciate it lots! :) Hi Sweet Cat, May I know who else I have to approach besides the police and DBKL (in my case)? It's a park in a housing area. Hope you can give me some advice as I wouldn't wanna spend more $ on a wedding planner :) Thank you so much!
  7. Hi Yvon, Your kua is nice! Have been looking for one that does not have the dragon and pheonix ;) Could you PM me your best price? Cos I saw in your other thread saying that it will be RM1XX.XX ler :p Thanks!
  8. Hi Jo! Interested in your WG and bridesmaid gown. Please email me at cherrystar.aa@gmail.com :) Thanks!
  9. Hi, could you kindly email me the pictures please? cherrystar.aa@gmail.com Thanks!
  10. Hi, could you email me the pictures please? cherrystar.aa@gmail.com And are there any defects in the gown? Thanks!
  11. Skye, Yalor in every thread ler.. at first I ask for opinion about her gowns, then realize that in every thread also got her post promoting the link and email. Really fishy.. Even if not the owner, maybe someone who is paid to do the "marketing" =S Lesam, Sorry but your posts really sound dodgy ler.. even your latest post here puts the link out clearly. Like purposely emphasizing the link.. sorry if you are really a bride-to-be but perhaps you can show us some pictures of the wedding gowns you bought or even later show us your photoshoot pictures to clear doubts. Anyway sorry if I have offended you ya. Just being honest in what I think :)
  12. Hmm, pink and white seems to be a hot favorite! Maybe I should change my theme colour already
  13. Hi Jess, Just wondering, how your brother "tried out" those PGs for his AD? I also wanna try lah, cos I feel KG's photograhy for AD so so only.. not that nice actually Thanks!
  14. Hey babes.. I need some advice. I just went to KG today and generally quite liked their style of photography. Until FH & I went into De Casamia and saw their photos there, and suddenly realize that KG pictures can't see the couple's faces most of the time And I realize KG do very little editing on couples faces in the pictures.. is that true? Like, don't have that, "wahhh.. look so pretty/handsome" kinda feel lo.. and lack emotions too, I mean the photos. Any brides or BTB experienced asking their KG PG to take more close up pictures? Or at least focus on the faces more even when the human is small (if you know what I mean)? Should I ask my PG to do that (if I sign up with them la) or should I just let them freely take their own style? Also, anyone here can recommend a good SA in KG? I was served by a young girl whom I don't remember her name Don't quite like her cos she's very pushy and sometimes don't understand what I'm talking about, and even lied when she denied that they are joining a bridal fair in Sept.. I don't like dishonest SAs like that Kindly advice, thank you!!
  15. Hi elyssa, I just went to KG today and I got served by an SA which I forgot her name Anyway I don't really like her serving me, she seems not really experienced and don't quite understand what I'm talking about sometimes. She's even dishonest when I ask her will they be joining the bridal fair next month (their name is on the list of vendors already). I really would wanna change my SA. Do you mind telling me which SA served you and which was the one you wanted at first? Thanks! Hi Panda, The designer will have a worksheet for us? They will touch up arms and faces etc for free? That's a good thing
  16. Skye, Yup I'm very fair and pale.. but my FH hates colours on my eyes, he likes those brown & grey, can't be too black else he say I look like monster And I never used dark colour lippy before, always only use lip gloss will little colour. So I will be very not used to it if I have to wear red lippy or something.. But I'm not worried, as long as my MUA is good I think she will know how to gao dim my face I'm willing to look outstanding and different (not too different though ) for my wedding!
  17. Hi Fish, Thanks for the recommendation! I've seen Serendah and the Seapark one already, one member her recommended me the Tenggiri, also in Bangsar, I think it's much nicer! But I think more expensive lor http://www.tenggiri.com/ Really beautiful place! That's how I got to know about the rest of their bungalows Thank you so much for the help! I will seriously consider tenggiri or terase
  18. candy, agree! pink and white are my fav colours too skye,, yup very romantic indeed I'm just afraid I might look even more pale in these colours, haha. Thanks for the opinion!
  19. Dear ji muis, Just wondering whether anyone had experience having their wedding ceremony / civil ceremony in Covershot's waterfront studio? How was their pricing and service? And how's the place? Appreciate your sharing Thanks!
  20. Diana, Ming looks ok! But my FH kinda decided on TT Odeon already.. cos he loves the lantern lights so much! And the manager was very friendly so he's very happy.. no matter what other restaurants I show him, he will say "I still like TT". LOL!
  21. Can I have a look to, please? cherrystar.aa@gmail.com Thanks!
  22. Hi Jo! Haha no need paiseh ler... if you can afford it, why not, it's your choice to make yourself a super happy bride!! Actually who was your decorator? And how much to top up for flower ball? They are so pretty! Woah hot and mosquito but nobody complain? And you never even complain.. you must be a very easygoing bride! I thought of renting their outdoor space for my wedding ceremony (only), they quoted me RM5k! And it's not including food also.. I asked for simple refreshment, they say they can't provide, ask me to take the hi-tea menu which is like RM60/pax! Some more rental per chair is RM10. How to afford lahhh
  23. Hi again Jo! Oh Kajang is wayyyy to far for me, I'm in Kepong area One MB member Jessica recommended a place for me that is really nice! It's called Tenggiri. Also thousand plus per night, 7 room bungalow. Really nice place! Too bad it's a bit too small for a solemnization ceremony.. am still considering it though. Really love the place!!
  24. Diana, yup i have striked hotel out of my options after surveying I heard bad reviews on the service of both Jaya Palace and Oriental Pavillion.. not sure how true but am currently shortlisting Kepong Tai Thong Odeon and.. so far no other options that FH & I really like Thanks anyway for your suggestions, appreciate it! Hi,Cherrystar. There are still a lot of hotels in Pg that has menus under 1K per table.Instead of chinese restaurants in hotels, why not have it in the ballroom(of the hotel)? Can even decorate it according to your wedding theme(if you chose to have one). Hi Pat, I'm from KL, not PG I am looking at chinese restaurants in hotels cos hotel food normally not as tasty, and my relatives would appreciate good food! And hotels are more expensive as mentioned earlier. So chinese restaurants with nice hall is my best choice!
  25. Diana, Haha still can't lah.. can't really afford anything above RM1k actually
