  1. I totally agree with sassy_chiq with regards to my experience with Angie. She took AGES to get my make up done - in the morning and also in the evening. As a consequence, my photographer didn't have time to do a few portrait pics because we were running late! Don't get me wrong, the make up was stunning and I got a lot of positive feedbacks about it. But, after the day is over, the only thing I have are photos and I feel that I missed out on a lot of photo opportunities! She's professional, and punctual and willing to style you to your personality.
  2. Hey everyone, How long do you think the video should be - don't want the guests to be bored? You think 7 minutes too long? Thanks
  3. HI brides to be, Can I ask how long should a childhood/growing up MV be? Is 5 minutes too long? Does that include the couple meeting up ???? Thanks
  4. Tea ceremony in PJ and wedding dinner in KL. 1-2 hours only ah? not 4-5 hours ah?????? :rclxub:
  5. HI, After consulting with a chinese sifu, he recommended that 1pm only reach groom's house is an auspicious time. How many hours does the photographer need to prepare SDE for the wedding dinner? My dinner starts at 630pm. You think that is do-able? THanks
  6. Nie Nie, Can I please have the GDL life also! My GDL is next month, and I haven't prepared anything!!!! arrgghhhh..... Email at cala_angel@hotmail.com Thanksssssss

  8. Dear MB Brides, I am needing some advice on when should we play our "introductory montage (Childhood, how we met etc)", pre wedding photos, same day edit morning ceremony + video. Is there a recommended timing like during 1st course/2nd course etc etc???? Also, when do we do our 2nd march in??? I am absolutely clueless. I haven't attended a wedding for a super long time and now, I am organising mine! HEADACHE! Thanks for your help
  9. Thanks Amanda. My hotel says if want to shift piano to the banquet hall, need to hire mover and that already costs 1.5 k coz piano needs to be re-tuned after moving!!!! So, I am going to re-think what I want in my band. :wacko3:
  10. Dear all, I am thinking of hiring a pianist and a vocalist - 2 piece band. Do you know who can provide this service ? Also, WHO will provide the piano - the band or the hotel??? Thanks
  11. Just to share my experience with Favor Essence. Like both of you, I was very impressed with their blog, and their website. I visited their shop, and like emilyL - it was vert empty, and not many samples. I did see the end product of some wedding favors they were doing for a couple. It looked quite good. They asked me to fill up a form - name, address, email, quote, type of flower you prefer, budget and what I wanted for my wedding decor - eg arch/main table/pedestal etc. We chatted for about 20-30 minutes and she promised to make a proposal for me to see whether it suited my theme or not. Two months later - I heard nothing! So I emailed the lady to ask what was happening. She emailed me back to say "I was waiting for your reply whether to go ahead or not"!!!! "We are now unable to do wedding decor for your date because you didn't confirm with us!" My reply was that I was waiting for her proposal which SHE promised to email me! I don't know if it is a miscommunication or what but I don't believe anybody can confirm wedding decoration with a florist without a proposal!!!! To be fair, I have seen pictures of the decor they have done and I think it looks quite nice and that's why I went to them. However, I am not sure if service is top class though!
