  1. Thanks for the phone #, I am going to call them and ask. BTW, have you heard Dr.Tang Boo Nee (Subang Jaya Medical Center)? I googled her and it say she performs L.M. But I would like to know more about her before seeing her. Thanks! My client's sister did a L.M with Doc BK Lim at UMSC, Tel 03 78414040. She did to removed cysts few years ago when LM is not famous. The first gynae she went to is a famous doctor in Gleanegles KL, the doc asked her do the old way not LM. Then she get second opinion with this Doc Lim.
  2. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Yes, I would like to know more about the doctor that did your surgery. I'm very happy and satisfied with my gynae from Gleneagles, KL which is very professional and good. I manage to walk without assistance the next morning after surgery and I did not experience much pain. I'm more than willing to help you with your query. Do feel free to message me.
  3. Thank you in advance for helping me asking the doctors information. I was diagnosed with fibroid 2 years ago, and it was just 2cm, but now it's growing to 7cm. So, the surgery is unavoidable. After doing my research, I opted for the surgery that has the fastest and easiest recovery which is L.Myomectomy (minimally invasive surgery). I am desperate for finding a doctor who has experience in this kind of surgery. quote name='suevian' date='Jun 14 2011, 10:48 AM' post='380151'] I did asked my doc can I removed the fibroid if my delivered is under c-sect. My gynae said cannot, reason is surgical of fibriod will make us bleeding a lot. How big is ur fibroid, mine is 5cm. I will help you to asked my leader is any doctor do that treatments. As for the insurance claims, I am not too sure ur ins company can covered or not. But I am from Prudential, that time when I was pregnant, I did asked if I do the operation after delivered, can it be claimed. The answer is yes. But u must ensure when u take up the insurance, there is no exclusion on this, meaning no pre-existing illness.
  4. Thank you Suevian for sharing your thought and replying for my topic. I am not able to conceive for many years and my fibroid is quiet big and need to be removed. Otherwise, I would seek for other alternative treatment too. Glad to know that you are working in Insurance industry. Since you're in this line, do you know any doctors who perform Laparoscopic Myomectomy? In the past, I had the bad experience for claiming the benefits due to my agent and the ambiguous doctor report. I don't know whether this time if fibroid surgery is covered in my medical insurance or not. I have to check with the Insurance co. Thanks! All the best to you
