  1. Hi - looking to sell Lusan Mandongus wedding gown - full lace overlay, slight trumpet as per attached pictures. Letting this go for RM3k. (original price tag in pic). Measurements 165cm, UK8-10. Need to wear 4 inch heels. Dress is quite heavy. Worn once, dry cleaned at Jeeves. PM +6012 640 7006 for further discussion.
  2. Hi, just to add, this dress is still available. Willing to let it go for RM3k as it is taking up a lot of space in my home.
  3. Hi, Following on from my first thread here (http://www.malaysiabrides.com/forum/topic/33311-selling-my-lusan-mandongus-wedding-gown/), am selling off my other wedding gown (yes I had two - one for ROM, the other for actual day). The Lusan was on my actual day, this Annasul Y one was for the ROM (both in Sep '13). Details as follows - 1) I'm 5 ft 4 or 165cm, wore this with 4 inch heels on that day. I'm usually an M and sometimes fit an L if the size is smaller. Dress was altered to fit my size between UK8-10. 2) Bought this from Morgan Davies London in Dec 2012. Product code LM2263B, in the Snow by Annasul Y collection. I managed to track down the model picture online as well. (http://www.satinbow.co.uk/Annasul-Y-Snow-LM2263B.html) 3) Looking to sell at RM3k. Original labelled price was GBP1400. (will need to look for the tags) 4) As I didnt have many days there, I just bought the sample off the rack in London and took it back to KL for alteration, again at the same boutique where I altered the Lusan gown. This was done cheaply at around RM100 for me. Buzz for more pics or closeups at snarawsaurus29@gmail.com
  4. Hi there, just got married in September '13 and looking to sell off a few dresses (separate posts created for each gown as its pic heavy). This is for the full lace overlay Lusan Mandongus gown, purchased at the Designer Bridal Room sample sale in 2012 and altered very cheaply by a bridal house. (Note - DBR wanted to charge me RM1800 for alteration costs, but I found a bridal boutique who did it for RM150) -_- happy to give tips to whoever buys this. I am 5 ft 4 (165cm) and was wearing about 4 inch shoes in this gown. I'm usually an M and sometimes fit an L if the size is smaller. Dress was altered to fit my size between UK8-10. Slight trumpet style, not entirely A-line as you can see from the gown. It's a pretty heavy gown given the train and all the layering underneath (see attached hanging picture) but is typical of designer gowns, so be prepared to feel the weight. (!) Original price tag attached in pic, am looking to let this go at RM4.5k. Worn once on 28 Sep, and has been sent for drycleaning at Jeeves BSC twice (once upon purchase in 2012, next after my wedding day in Sep). Buzz for more pics at snarawsaurus29@gmail.com
  5. could you keep us posted on your gown from china? ive heard nothing but awful horror stories, and it would be interesting to hear your experience ordering from them. I notice US brides have ordered from China and you can get their feedback from the weddingbee website..

  7. Hi just FYI Designer Bridal Room having a gown sample sale 23 August - 8 Sep. Take note - appointments necessary. I booked immediately for today (First day of sale). http://www.weddinggu...om-sample-sale/ The ad says from RM300 but after my visit, I think you'd probably only get a veil for that amount. One rack was 70% off, the other at 50% off. San Patrick, La Sposa, Pronovias and Lusan Mandongus were the brands I saw. Given the price range for the 1st 3 brands is between RM12k-RM15k at normal price, 70% discount would make the dress come down to around RM4-5k. I wrote a bit more about it here http://the-bridezill...avilion-kl.html
  8. Me too. Bought 1 evening gown. Worth it. :) Ya it is :-) I went yesterday on 29th July (last day). There were 2 clearance racks of gowns (white and evening gowns) left, mostly A-line, strapless tube gowns. Agree that salespeople very friendly (mine was Judy). I posted some pictures of some gowns I thought were nice here at http://the-bridezilla.blogspot.com/ I paid RM500 for mine, took it home, and they then called me after to say they had overcharged me, and refunded me RM100. Pleasantly surprised.
