  1. I think $139/plate is doable. In Malaysia getting discounts is unheard of especially if you want good food, venue and the works. But from my research I can say that u can get a pretty darn good location at Bali for $120-$140/plate if you have the number of guest to meet the min requirement. All in even adding the rental for the venue would still work out to be cheaper than KL. something which we may we considering now that we intend to scale the guest list down even further
  2. 1 post history only??? Looks like the usual dummy account set up by a vendor to praise themselves. u seem to have a problem with me having only 1 post. i'm a bride myself and i am also looking for photographers and i'm not a dummy account. if u have a problem with me commenting about the photographers work that u are asking an opinion for then perhaps u shouldn't even bother asking for an opinion.
  3. Yes!! Absolutely lovedddd their service! And the rooms were so, so huge as well. Actually my fiance proposed to me there! ;))) wow, must be really sweet then! haha, ok looks like i may just choose four seasons then.
  4. KarenNg: I was also eyeing on Four Seasons!! And I have seen photos of Langkawi - looks amazingly gorgeous. I think it wld be a perfect setting for wedding too. Have u stayed at four seasons before? John: hi, thx for suggestion but I don't think we will go with Avillion. :)
  5. Hi ladies anyone bought or ordered marchesa bridal dresses before? i really love her designs but not sure where i can get in Malaysia (if its even available locally). if anyone came across this designer locally pls do let me know!

  7. Hi ladies / everyone I'm new in this forum and I'm getting married in July 2013 and i'm looking for a place to hold a beach wedding. So far I've shortlisted Langkawi. Has anyone done any beach wedding so far? My worry is obviously weather but I think if we plan enough contingencies it shouldn't be a problem. Would love to hear your advice and tips if any. Thanks! Leanne
