  6. hi crasygal, could it be she doesn't like the mash like food ? my son is 13+ mth now... he start to reject my mash like food even before his 1st birthday... since then I realize he doesn't like mash food anymore and he prefer food prepared in small chunk... of course u hv to cut the chunk as small as possible but definitely not in mash style anymore... I dont think it's anything do with teeth as my son dont hv many teeth though during that time... let try food in small chunk... I did cook food in small chunk for her, same thing she don't like it and get chuck and vomit easily. she only want her milk. till now her stool still watery. I did ask her dr, the dr said is normal for her stool coz she didn't have much solid food. at first I though she don't like my cooking but no she just don't like solid food, coz when we bring her out and give her solid she will reject too. Im really worried bout it, she is 15 mths now can't depend on the formula milk that much, she have to get her nutrition from solid food. I've run out of idea already. :(
  7. beautifulgown, her milk time is after her solid food, I top up milk for her coz she didn't have much solid. other then eggs, I cook mash potato, mash carret, porridge, toufu etc for her.. she don't like it.. :( don't know is it because she didn't have much teeth and her gum is pain?

  12. aggy, my daugther almost same as ur daugther... she like to sleep with breastfeed... I try not to let her do so.. so every time she fall asleep while breastfeed I will used a cold cloth to wipe her up.. if she very tired then Ive no choice to let her sleep.. some times she will sleep while bottle feed.. so I did the same way... my daugther don't like pacifier too.. I've tried lots of brand of pacifier too.. end up I bought her a teether (from MAM, the shape like a teeth gum) I let her bite while she feel sleepy.. she manage to sleep after she bitting it... so we use the teether as her pacifier... also I found out she manage to sleep tied and well on her tummy.. (we have to watch out her every single mins coz scare she will cover her nose and can't breath) how height is ur daugther now?? early of this months I bring her for check up.. she is 9kg and 70cm tall which in her 7mths old... her dr did not said she over weight.. her dr said she is a big size baby.. her size is at 10mths old baby... for me so long the baby is healthy Im ok coz they will maintain or lower down their weight while they start to craw or walk... don't worry too much... try to replace the water to the teether see... hope its will help ur daugther..
  13. I have serious gastrick too, my dr did not ask me to stop breastfeed when Im under gastrick medication. my dr ask me to have proper meal and eat in time, but my gynea ask me to stop breastfeed if can my PND (post-natal depression) become serious now and Im under medication (hai always under medication.. ) not only my gyne ask me to stop, the psychologist also ask me to stop beastfeed the main reason is the PND's medication.. but I have strong view to continue to bf my daugther (both dr said I can continue bf 8 hrs after the medication).. hope that I can over come the PND and continue to bf my daugther longer..
  14. wsyrinrin, I'm not good in cooking and I seldom cook so I plan to introduce cereal to her then only learn how to cook for her.. I plan to stop BF coz my health condition but I will stop slowly.. plan to fully stop when she 9 mths old My gal don't like to drink water... now Im worried after I introduce solid and formula to her.. she will have constipation.. not easy to be a parents.. I miss my parents now..
  15. it's not a must to give rice cereal, but it is a very popular first food for a few reason: - it's plain and not sweet so that babies can accept food with different taste later on? - it's easy to prepare - you can manage the consistency & dilute it to really watery when you first introduce solid and slowly thicken it to let your baby get used to thicker semi-solid; you can prepare very small portion when your baby first start, they tend to just take a few baby spoon, as compared to if you introduce avocado, it browns really quickly and you'll need fresh avocado everyday... if 1 avocado costs 5bucks... it cost quite a lot by the time your baby starts to love avocado A colleague gave me 'Only' organic rice cereal, which works fine and have no added stuff, but not so easy to dissolve in my warm EBM. Also, it's not iron-fortified. Now I use Bellamy porridge, which is finer and easier to dissolve, smelled great too. I didn't buy happy bellies as the can is much bigger than Bellamy's pack. I don't give lots of cereal so the Bellamy pack will last me quite long already. I think it's not the brand that matters but the ingredients in it, so whichever brand you go for, have a look at the list of ingredients to make sure there's no added sugar, potential allergens like wheat, soy, gluten etc qiqi81, thank u for ur reply.. will try to search on those products there's no added suger, potential allergens etc.. I have another question.. old ppl said solid will be 'heathy' for them and they must drink lots of water so that they wouldn't have constipation... how if my gal don't drink much water as she don't like to drink plain water.. is it I have to give her high fiber food instate of normal food so that she will not have constipation issue?
  16. thank u all mummies.. think I need to reschedule my gal's food intake in-order to fit in the solid food I have another question, is it we must introduce cerel to my gal for the first solid food? Im searching the solid cerel for my gal now seems like bit hard to get heizs' cerel in the market..
  17. hi all expirance mummies, I have a silly question to ask (sorry first time mummy don't know what to do ) I plan to introduce solid to my gal next month (another 2 weeks she will be 6 months old) I have a question which is after I introduce solid to her.. the solid food will replace the section of her milk intake... I read thru lots of artical its state milk (BM/FM) still an important food for baby which younger than 1 yro.. so after I introduce her solid shd I remain the same intake of her BM?? currently she will have 6 feed per day (2 direct feed, 4 bottle feed with 5oz BM) (is the feed too litter for a 5 1/2 mths old baby??) I don't know how.. do I have to remain or reduce her milk intake after introduce her solid... if remain how do I put in the solid schedule..?? can any mummies help me on this... sorry Im blur bout this... feel like Im useless mum.. such things also don't know..
  18. kaiekai ya all babies are unique and all babies will go thru the routine different too.. for me so long she are healthy Im happy... my gal start suck her fingures when she was 3 mths old.. so I think is normal.. :p
  19. annie, my daugther is 5mths old, now she know how to roll over but only one side (from back to tummy ) she still don't know how to roll back from tummy to back (is she slow? ) she know how to play pee ka poo with us too she like to play this game with her dad.. now I try to let her sit with support.. she like it too.. every time when I put her on sitting position she will laugh very loud.. she like to suck her hands.. some times she can put all her 4 fingures into her mouth and chuk herself.. is your baby having same routine..??
  20. think back of my 'blues' its scary... I hurt and harm my baby during first 2 months... my hubby found Im different after we discharge from the hospital... I hurt my girl while she cries, I throw her away when she ask for milk, I push my hubby away while he want to talk to me or touch me, I keep feeling that some one in my hse wanted to kidnap me and my baby... I dont want to leave the house and room... when I go back for my 2 weeks check up I so worried after I leave the hse when Im back my baby will gone... I keep ask my hubby to bring me back while waiting for my turn.. once reach home saw my girl I harm her while she cry... I also wanted to take the knife to cut my girl.. (lucky I didnt did it coz my hubby was watching and he ask me what Im doing with the knife) my hubby straight bring me back to my gyne.. my gyne ask my hubby continue to monitor me and bring me out more... if after a mth still the same I need medication... thank god its gone after 2 mths for baby sleeping time.. I did face that too... my girl she sleep well during day time.. at night fuss, cry and don't want to sleep but she switch to normal sleeping time herself while she is 6 weeks old... for breastfeed I was so stress up as I've no milk at all and my colostrum came on 5th day.. my girl was on formular on the first 2 weeks. my milk supply very low.. no matter how hardwork I pump my milk out max I only got 1.5oz (max for both breast) for my girl... Im so lucky my mum and my hubby so support on breastfeeding... now I ful BF my girl and Im still continue bf her... so don't give up..
  21. Hi I would like to share this information with all mommies here. I know most of the mommies know where have baby room at the shopping complex but I believe those new mommies like me would not know till we go hunt. (like treasure hunt. ) Here is the shopping complex I’ve been and used their baby room before. 1. Sunway Pyramid ~ LG1 (new wings) (near Bonita) – the design not bad, it with, 1 breastfeed room, playground for kids, a sofa (waiting area), 1 ‘koala’ changing board, basin, water dispenser (hot, warm & cold water) ~ G Floor (new wings) (near Levis) – design same as LG1 just that its bigger than LG1. (I personally I prefer level G. ) ~ Jusco (1st floor, baby area) – the design quite compact, a small partition with 2 changing table, 1 breastfeed room, basin and a chair for waiting (I personally don’t really like it as very pack) (only female are allow to enter) 2. IOI Jusco ~ 1st floor (at Jusco 1st floor toilet) – design more comfortable than Jusco Sunway, its link to the female toilet. 1 partition for breastfeed (2 rooms inside), 1 partition for changing (2-3 changing table), 1 partition for kids toilet. 3. 1 Utama ~ 2nd floor (new wings, at Shogun there. Attach with toilet) – the design quite comfortable, the room have a partition for breastfeed and inside have 5 rooms, 3-4 changing table, basin, water dispenser (hot, warm & cold water), the waiting area with TV play with cartoon. ~ Parkson (1st floor at children fitting room) – the design quite compact, 2 breastfeed room, 2 changing table, basin, water dispenser (hot & cold water) and 2 sofa for waiting 4. Subang Paride ~ 2nd floor (next to the school shop) – the design quite nice, a big room for mammies. A playground for kids, a waiting area, 3 breastfeed room, 2 ‘koala’ changing board, a pantry, a toilet for kids (only female are allow to enter) (outside got a chair for dad to sit and wait) 5. Ikano ~ 2nd floor (next to the optical shop and the link bridge to The Curve) – the design quite bad and compact, its put a sofa with 2 curtain cover at the comer for breastfeed, 2 changing table, basin and a chair for waiting (I personally don’t really like it as not very convenience for breastfeed) 6. The Curve ~ 1st floor (opposite the Sony Center) – the design not bad, its have a partition for breastfeed with 2 rooms (cover by half door and half curtain), 2-3 changing table, basin and an area for u to ‘park’ your stroller. Its come with classical music too. I heared my colleague said Empire have the baby room too but I haven’t been there and also don’t know where it locate… any one of you can share the rest of the baby room at the shopping complex with us so that we mummies can have a happy shopping and babies will have a comfortable feeding place.. hope this will help up those new mummies like me..
  22. mei, on the 5 days I only have colostrum.. did Eva take pacifier?? my gal same she fusses because she want to sleep but can't... she will rub her eyes.. knock her head (she use her hand to knock her head).. suck her hands and cry.. if she see me during that time she will request my breast I did try to walk away or ignore her request but she continue fuss for half hr some times longer... we see her can't sleep we feel bad and soft hearted and let her suck on my breast... first few suck she suck till there is no tomorrow after that she will soften it and fall into sleep.. every time are same.. hai
  23. Mei, Im not gona reject her request now as she still young.. I just want to know how to wean off when she depends on my breast seriously.. from birth I've latch her when ever she want... she will suck till she sleep... Ive no choice to let her latch during that period of time coz Ive no bm... my milk come when she is 5 days old... before she start suck her hands she will take only pacifier to sleep... once she figure it out her hands she don't want pacifier and she will fuss and cry for sleep and request my breast.. think now I have to be hard hearted not to let her suck on my breast when she fuss for sleep... I have another issue too.. my milk supply very slow... can't catch up with her hunger... some times she will fuss for milk every hr but when she suck not more than 10mins she will fall into sleep.. I also don't know how and don't know is she hungry or sleepy as she didn't have sleepy sign.. what a failure of me.. till now still can't catch what my gal really want...
  24. hi all bf mom.. I would like to ask how u guys stop bf ur bb..?? I heared lots of ppl said its hard to stop bf if ur bb don't want pacifier... my colleague told me latch on till 6 mths then after that express out and feed her thru bottles if not hard to stop bf as she cant stop latch her child and she is 18 mths already... recently I found out that my gal had addited to my breast.. she wanted to suck my breast to sleep.. if I give her pacifier she will cry and push it away... I don't want her to addited to my breast.. I only want her suck when she is hungry not treated my breast as pacifier... any way to train my gal..??
  25. jacqline. I change her hand cloth every day and pillow cover every week... after she suck her hands I will clean her hand with wet cloth to make sure her hands r clean... what Im worry ist furute will have problem to wean off the behaviour of sucking her hands.. now she had addited to my breast..
