Dear Cashmere, FYI, I am the ONE AND ONLY MAY BRIDE (which you referred to in paragraph 3 of your post) who engaged Periwinkle Design @ Karen (the PIC) for AD deco but it seems that you know the price better than me although I am the one paying!!! HOW COULD IT BE POSSIBLE???? The total bill for my AD deco is DEFINITELY OF A HIGHER AMOUNT THAN THE RM3,000-00 MENTIONED BY YOU IN YOUR POST unless you are WILLING AND PREPARED TO REIMBURSE ME WITH THE SHORTFALL BETWEEN THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY ME WITH THE AMOUNT MENTIONED BY YOU!!! If not, please verify your statement with care before accusing anyone of being unfair in terms of pricing. Secondly, I really wonder how could it be possible that you have registered as a member in MB just 5 days ago and yet you have actually "COUNSULTED" and "RELYING ON THE ADVICE AND RECOMMENDATIONS" of Melaniee (hereinafter referred to as "Mel") since late last year ie prior to you joining MB as a member??? HOW SPOOKY?? THIS IS REALLY LIKE AN X-FILE! Also, what information that you have relied upon which makes you into believing and claiming that the professional charges for my wedding decoration amounting to RM3,000-00??? I have never received your PM, I have never spoken to you on the phone, I have never communicated with you via SB, MSN, Facebook, e-mail or any other form of online communication .. put it simple, I don't even know your existence until I saw your post in MB. Even my husband and parents didn't know the actual sum as I am the only one dealt with Karen. So how on earth do you come to the figure of RM3,000-00 unless you are closer to me than my husband and even my parents??? Thirdly, I have actually took the effort to verify your statements with Karen and according to Karen, from Jan 2009 till to-date, she merely has ONE AND ONLY BRIDE having a hotel reception and that bride is DEFINITELY NOT U in view that the bride has just expressed her satisfaction on Karen's work on her AD … so what's your explanation? Impersonating? Registering multiple IDs? Not until and unless you can provide some solid evidence that you are indeed the said bride ie quotation by Karen, confirmation of deposit paid, some AD photos or even wedding website, what weight do you carry in the contents of your post? I wore 2 WGs and 2EGs during my reception. 1st WG (without train) = Welcoming guests 2nd WG (long train) = March in and ROM on stage 1st EG (long train) = 2nd march in, cake cutting n toasting on stage 2nd EG (without train) = HB presenting flowers on stage and bye2 to guests

Eevon, I am a TT bride as well and my PG is Wang. Overall, average service, nothing to shout about compared to my recent ps with freelance pgs .... as usual, bs will have standard pose, standard background, only different couple .. :dash2: BTW, you may request Catherine to be yr mua as her skill is good and she is friendly as well. The amount of dowry is very subjective, it can range from few hundred to a huge amount depending on the financial status of the couple and in some cases, it was paid by the groom's parents. As for GDL, generally the groom side have to provide the following items for the bride:- a) Dowry b) KLP (amount as per request by the bride side) c) Chicken (some give roasted pig as well) d) Liquor e) 8 types of "hou yi tao" items like lin ji, bak hup, longan yuke, fa sang, thai ji, kat bang, honey, hung jou n etc) f) 4 types of dried seafood like fatt choy, hou si, abalone, sea cucumber, scallops n etc g) fatt gou h) fruits i) kuih-muih like ang gu, jin duin n etc j) Lung fung juk k) Red cloth for the bride side to hang the day before ad Having said that, you may discard some of the items if you have a tight budget for gdl. Item (f) is definitely optional while the amount for item (a) can be discounted based on your affordability. Hope it helps!!
