  1. Good...most importantly you have seen the PG's portfolio and you like their style then is good enough, not necessarily must take Adam. Everyone has different preference, some people might not like Adam's style also, so it's personal preference. Wish you all the best!
  2. Hehe...pure luck because my friend and I signed together at Nov's bridal fair and we will make a scene if they don't keep their promise to give us Adam (before we knew he resigned). They promised us to give us Adam when we signed up, moreover 2 of us, so easier to negotiate.
  3. My PG is Adam Ong but I doubt you can get him because he has resigned. The reason I still got him is because I have specified for him when I signed up my package, so they have asked him to take the pictures for me anyhow. MUA is "Su Yin", I not sure how to spell her name, her make-up is simple & nice and she's a quiet lady which I like, hehe.... PG assistant is "Li Ying", she's also very nice and hillarious, really enjoyed their company, don't feel tired at all that day!
  4. Hi Netty, yup, I chose all OD, 2 OD's, Heritage Hotel & PD. Touch Collection do charge extra RM 188 for PD because the MUA follows us to OD. Total 3 person came with us, 1 PG, 1 MUA and a PG assistant. I went to Touch Collection in Jan to see their gowns and was rather disappointed but when I went back for gown fitting in March, they had so many new gowns. Almost double of what I saw in Jan, so no worries, you're sure to find suitable gowns. I would agree that their selection is not much compared to other BS but what matters is the quality rather than quantity, right? Moreover they have so many new gowns now, all are designer gowns, so don't worry about not much to choose from. Enjoy!
  5. Hi gals, thanks for the wishes and I am glad to announce that everything was good on my pre-wed PG day. I was worried about so many things before my PG day, worried that the weather is bad, make-up doesn't suit me, the gown done look as good as I think etc etc etc. We started make-up at 10am and settled everything by 12noon which includes make-up for me, my husband, tried my gown once again (just in case any last minute amendments), chose matching outfits for my husband, prepare things for the photoshooting and discussed with the photographer on what style we wanted. Then we headed to Heritage Hotel as our first OD, took photos there for approximately 2 hours then started our journey to PD. Reached PD by 4pm and started to take photos of the blue sky and white clouds. On the way to PD, it started to rain but once reached PD, it was very hot. Though hot but I was very happy because it's definitely better to be hot than rain, right? After that, we took some casual shots while waiting for sunset. It started to have sunset at 6.30pm and the pictures taken were so unique and beautiful. I can only view the pictures in another 2 weeks, I am really excited and hope to share with all of you later on
  6. Hi Touch Collection brides, My PG is this Thurs, very excited but worried at the same time as the weather is extremely unpredictable lately *sigh* I wonder since there is so many brides chose Touch Collection, I bet some of you have actually add photos other than those in the package. May I ask how much was it? What was the initial price Touch quoted then how much negotiated to? Hope that I can "tou si" (steal skills) from those that have successfully negotiated for good price Thanks in advance!
  7. Hi justjess & jess_kitkat, It is self preference, I didn't like the color of the wall, I didn't mind the lightings actually but not the wall. Though it was without pillar but it was rather narrow, doesn't look grand at all. I was upset because they said it is to look like the Kepong TT which I really liked. I was upset because they didn't fulfill what they promised. I booked the place during Bridal Fair, that time I couldn't find a place for my reception, so TT said I am the first to book for my date for Imperial Garden. So I was confident that it was to be like the Kepong TT and since I am the 1st to book the place, so I didn't go and search for other venues (not that I could find any). But when we went to view the place, they said I was 3rd onthe list, means I need to wait for the 1st 2 couples to reject the place only it'd be my turn. I didn't search for other place and I had lost 2 months of time waiting for their opening, what if the other 2 couple wants the place? I need to search again? Their promises was all blank promises and I actually did follow-up with them twice before I went to view the place. I called the manager there (Ah Ying) and also the marketing person whom I spoke to during the fair that I am the 1st to book for my date. Then they tell me I was 3rd in line, I was so frustrated and to add-on the place was not what they had promised. I really very unsatisfied with their service and the place, maybe it's personal but do wish you all luck. I have finally secured my wedding reception elsewhere after all the headaches I've gone through to find another venue. Thanks to Imperial Garden!!!
  8. We booked them for our wedding on 3rd Oct during a Bridal Fair in Dec but since we haven't see the place yet (it was not open at that time), we didn't pay deposit, just booking. During the fair, they have described the place to be ballroom style, no pillars, very spacious that can fit 60 tables, looks very grand like their Kepong branch. We saw the leaflet of the Kepong branch, it looks fabuluos. So thinking that Imperial Garden will be similar, we were very confident and didn't search for any other venues. They opened before CNY and asked us to view the place after CNY to confirm our bookings as they were busy for CNY. We went to see the place, it was nothing like what they described! It was not as spacious as they claimed, the design was nothing at all like the Kepong branch (the lights and wall color are totally different), it didn't look elegant to me! Usually guys are not so particular but even my fiance couldn't accept their space, looks very narrow. Maybe we were given too high hopes and suddenly it didn't appear as we expected, so the disappointment is more. Maybe you should go there to see the place before hearing all negative comments from me, I might be being too bias and I was so angry with them because of some other issues that I do not want to mention further. Wish you all luck!
  9. Hi All, I am also having my AD on 3rd Oct, we didn't choose it on purpose, it's just because we have no other suitable dates. It's either clashing with our parents or us, so only left Fri and Sun which is not suitable. Therefore we ended up on 3rd Oct, we tried booking restaurants in Nov but still to no avail and until now, we only end up Sun luncheon. Not ideal but pros and cons because not so many people vegetarian for that day, far away friends and relatives have enough time to go back after lunch and not to mention some people can't make it for the actual day (Mid Autumn Festival). Still, if anyone wants to give up their restaurant booking for 3rd Oct, can let me know, I might still consider :-P Thanks, my e-mail is elaine.tham@c-a-m.com.
