  1. Hi Jacy79, Their website is http://www.paperthrill.com. My sis really like her invitation card and was so happy when her guests complimented her on her taste...hehe
  2. Hi, Any of u know where can I find dried / fake starfish? I'm helping my friend with her beach wedding deco, and we thought of using dried / fake starfish to put on the guests' tables. Any help is much appreciated!
  3. Jeanny - i've pm u the contact already. :) let me know if you didn't receive it nileey - i totally agree with you. I think many ppl in malaysia generally dont put much thought into wedding invitations. When my sister had her invitation card handmade and customized by paperthrill, she had guests coming back her and complimenting her on the beautiful card! she was totally beaming with pride. People can usually tell when u've put a lot of thought and details when giving out things like wedding invitation or favours. Quite a number of her friends actually said they're keeping her card for remembrance.. hehehe...:)
  4. Hi, Just to share..I have a contact for handmade wedding invitations. Their cards are really nice. My friend and sister had their wedding invitations made by them, and were really satisfied with the result. its different la from the usual mass produced printed cards :) anyone want the contact pls pm me. they have a website too.
  5. I'm actually sourcing for wedding invitation for my sister too...i found this reallyyy elegant handmade card and showed it to my sis and she absolutely love it! gonna enquire about it soon.. i think this blog owner makes handmade cards and they're quite nice. - http://paperthrill.blogspot.com
  6. Hi Jet, Thanks for owning up. However if u refer to the mails i sent u....i did mentioned tht my fren would be down during a particular weekend to collect the magnets. U could have at least mentioned that you would be bz during the weekend, and propose a suitable time for collection. And i did ask u to confirm with me the arrival of the stock. But I did not get any reply. That's why I was frustrated. Anyway, I did sent u another mail after tht weekend incident, to which again I had no reply. Tht's y i resorted to venting my frustration here. It's unfortunate we had to bring our miscommunication out in the open here. I'm trying to safe on courier charges (wedding's not a cheap affair, n not everyone's well-to-do), tht's y I'm getting frens to help to collect whenever he/she goes back hometown. I will inform u again the next date of collection, and I hope u would inform me if it's possible then or not.
  7. I did try to look for vendors from KL...but can't seem to find any. What I need is those black round magnets u find behind those decorative fridge magnets. Anyone know where I can get them in KL? My last option would b to get them online..
  8. To all brides to be out there...I would like to share a frustrating and unpleasant experience I had with a vendor from Ipoh (who also happens to be a member of this forum). I shall not mention names here, unless u guys think i should.. :P can pm me for the name la.. B) U see, I'm making my own wedding favour - fridge magnets, and I contacted this vendor from Ipoh to purchase ferrite magnets from him. At first he said that he can provide me with the magnets. So I ordered. Then he said there's no stock. So I asked him when would the stock arrive...and got no reply. Since i still have time, I waited. And waited. Then finally he told me stock might be available on a certain date. So I told him I'll get someone to go Ipoh (i'm from kl btw) and collect it for me. I tried making appointment with him, but again no reply. I also asked him to confirm if stock has really arrived, but no reply as well. When my fren was in Ipoh, he tried calling the vendor...but the vendor was busy. So in the end, I still have not been able to purchase my magnets. I tried contacting the vendor...but still no reply. <_< I really dunno if the vendor wants to do business or not. FYI he's a photographer as well, and I'm not sure if this is the attitude and working etiquette he has, which is totally unprofessional. The least he could do is inform me that he is busy, or make appointment with me on another date, or tell me whether he wanna sell me the magnets or not. It simply shows how undependable he is. So if u're reading this post and u happen to be the vendor i'm talking bout, I hope you do take note of this. Bad service spreads like wildfire.
