Where do I start?? It was exactly a week ago (18 Oct 2014) Gary & I have had our wedding reception at Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie. I remembered clearly KG's opening speech; indicating that "this is not your ordinary wedding dinner" and "it will be a special & memorable one". It was truly an extraordinary wedding reception & definitely a very special one for me, Gary & the rest of our guests. I've seen KG & Amanda performed at my friend's wedding and no doubt, I was amazed by the way he engaged with the crowd & on the other hand,he speaks great English too (which is my pre-requisite for engaging an Emcee) :) I took down his contact & immediately did some research on these 2 duo; and the rest they say, is history. We met up twice at Sanook Bistro (where KG & Amanda would be performing) to run through the details with him. The energy & excitement level he brought us were very encouraging. How often do you get an Emcee who gives advice via Whatsapp occasionally? KG, KG... you did a fantastic job as an emcee at our wedding dinner!! At this point of writing, we kept reminiscing the Yum Seng session happening last week at this very hour. The command of crowd & interaction were superb! At that very moment, we knew that you've nailed it! :) Moving on, songs list. Guests were impressed with their vocals & kept complimenting on the selection of song played during the wedding as well;indeed a very well mixed and balance of old songs and not forgetting Lady Gaga's poker face. Gary & I, together with our families were getting ready to thank our guests after the 7th dish. To our surprise, none of them came out!! We had to head back in the ballroom to see everyone seated at their place, entertained by their performance!! Not only did my guests enjoyed their performance, they were impressed by KG's Hokkien too, an Emcee who is not just good in singing but who is multilingual too. At the end of the wedding dinner, our guests were busy taking photographs with Amanda on stage :P Last but not least, a very BIG thank you to KG & Amanda for your insanely fantastic performance.It was such a joy to engage both of you as the wedding band & emcee!It was indeed an exceptionally extraordinary wedding dinner for all of us!
