  1. Hi all, I just had my wedding a week ago and everything is still fresh in my mind. I would like to share some of my bad experience with future brides just so that it won't happen to everyone else. I decided to rent 2 white gowns from the Amaryliss Bridal in Empire Subang. I dealt with Carmen, the owner of the boutique. Everything went well. Ive engaged Paul from Gallerie CK to do my prewedding photoshoot which he will provide a make up artist for the photo session. 1 week prior to the photoshoot, I had my gown fitting done with the boutique co-owner, Rynee Tan, who happened to the make up artist Paul provide me with. So Once decided on the gown, i requested her to match a veil( included in the package) for the shoot. She noted and promiesd. Out of kind heart, she told me to get dressed up at her studio so I did not need to pick up the gown and veil few days before the shoot. I did as said. On the day of photoshoot, once we arrived at UPM, we realized that that she forgotten about the veil. And of coz I insisted to have a veil for the shoot. But she wasn't applogetic neither she made any initiative to get a veil for me. All she said, it's ok, not many people take pictures with veil anymore. I've got to keep zen and go on as it's just the beginning of my shoot. Besides forgetting my veil, she never did any touch up for me at scene at all. No choice, but to carry on with the shoot without the veil. So the next day, my family insisted that I have to have shoot with veil, I requested paul to shoot for 2 hours, with the cost of RM 550. And I needed the gown. I called up Rynee, she was rude, she did not admit it was her fault and trying to push the blame to me for forgetting the veil. I asked for compensation, she refused, and insisted me to pay for the freaking laundry fee of RM 200. I have no choice but to pay, because in the end of the day I wanted the shoot and I need my gowns for my actual day. And as a person and a make up artist, Rynee Tan is not professional at all. As we were on our way to PD for the evening shoot, all she did was to talk bad and gossiped about other people from the same industry ( eg: aivyyong) and giving bad comments about her clients. It's pretty normal to talk about other people of the same industry, but not infront of your clients. What more talking bad about your clients. So unethical. That's one. The next fitting I had was for my actual day. I dealt with Carmen. I noticed the gown that I wanted was dirty on the inside bodice. I noted it to her and she will send it for laundry. 2 days before my wedding, I went to collect the gown, it was still as dirty and clearly the laundry wasn't done. She expected me to pick another gown at such crucial time. And again, as an unfortunate client, I have to take the gown. So just stay away from this boutique as it totally ruin my mood whenever I need to deal with them. All the other vendors I dealt with have me no problems except this irresponsible shop, AMARYLISS BRIDAL.
  2. I just want to share my experience about Christy Ng shoes. I went with intention to find out more about shoes customisation. But i was taken aback by the unprofessionalism of Christy Ng herself. She even pushed me to make a payment via credit card eventhough I repeatedly told her that i am only asking for advice and I want to go home and think about it. I received my shoe a few days back. It was NOTHING like what she vowed for. The sole was uncomfortable, design was not what I wanted and the price is ridiculously high. My word of advice, please do not go there and get your shoes. Don't end up feeling frustrated and cheated like me.
