  1. I would like to recommend my confinement lady, Jenny Low Siew Chin (tel no. +60136099588 - Whatsapp). She is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She has had 14 years experience as a confinement lady, and has worked with many families in Singapore, KL, Australia, UK, Hong Kong and Germany. She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. I am based in London and am having her for the second time after an excellent experience with my first child 3 years ago (reviewed here also - http://www.malaysiabrides.com/forum/topic/998-confinement-lady-pui-yuet/?do=findComment&comment=417712 ) Aunty Jenny is fantastic with my baby. She is gentle and patient, very diligent with changing nappies, and hygienic. Once breastfeeding was established, she was happy to feed the baby with expressed milk and settle him through the night so that I could rest as much as possible. She always ensures that I am well-fed and hydrated. She is extremely organised, preparing ingredients for our meals well in advance. She happily cooks for my husband, our son and I - even cooking separate meals for my fussy eater! She takes pride in her cooking, which IMO, is like eating out at restaurants back home, at times even better! Being overseas, we truly appreciate her going the extra mile eg. bringing foodstuffs she had prepared in Malaysia, making curry puffs, nasi lemak, yong tau foo etc. Nothing is too much trouble for her! Of course, do not expect her to work her magic without the necessary ingredients! She also does all our laundry, and light housekeeping. She encourages me to take time out for myself and has been very willing to help out with my older child (cooking separate meals for him, school runs, babysitting while I was out). She has even frozen ready-cooked meals for me in anticipation of my busy schedule when she leaves. She recharges with short naps or relaxes by watching Chinese TV series on her iPad. I have enjoyed both my confinement periods thanks to Aunty Jenny. She is very reliable and trustworthy, and has become a part of our family. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends, and anyone looking for an excellent confinement nanny.
  2. I was alone with the confinement lady together with baby during my confinement at home (only 3 of us). i am very "bad luck" of hiring a lazy and dirty confinement lady. Her name is Ah Geok from Raja Uda. She is vey lazy, always chat on phone and sleep. When baby cry, she like to pretend not heard. At first, she only wash cloth every two days (not daily) and even ask me not to change clothes ( I only change cloth twice a day. It's a lot? My husband wash his own cloth). She never prepare for tea time and supper even though I've been continuously remind her for a week until I have give up. She do complain a lot about night feeding, but in fact my baby only drink 2 times formula milk every night and each time only spend 15 minutes to finish his milk. When my husband ask her to cook some new dishes for me, she always complain she don't how to cook. I dislike her cooking, because very salty and oily, and she only have 3 to 4 methods of cooking recipe ( vry boring....). She never cook "chicken essential" for me. In term of dirty, she never wash the cooking pan properly until you can see the Yellow Oil stick on the outer layer of pan ( vey horrible ....never seen it before) and until my kitchen have a lot of new visitors likes ants and flies. Another thing, after baby "popo" she never use water to clean his bottom until my 2 weeks old baby have diaper rash. Baby cloth that have "popo", she also don't clean it separately and all just throw into the washing bin together with other clothes. (Vry disgusting) . At night, she sleep with baby in one room. She always ask us to open air-con or she will open the fan in very high speed. Until my baby got "stomach wind" and "diarrhea" after she has take care my baby for 2 weeks. Normally, 2pm until 5 pm she will either sleep or chat on phone, since my baby always have a long afternoon nap. If you unluckily booked her services (paid deposit), pls beware of her because I find she steal things especially foods and herbs that really out of my control.

  6. BENEFITS OF DEER PLACENTA DURING CONFINEMENT What is Placenta? Placenta is an embryonic tissue formed during pregnancy from the cells of the fetus. The unique biological compounds in placenta ensure that the fetus is supplied with the necessary nutrients and oxygen needed for successful growth. The placenta is rejected at birth in humans. Some mammalian females consume their placenta (the “after-birth”) after delivering their offspring. Chinese anti-aging and restorative formulations have often relied upon placenta as a primary ingredient in formulations designed to rejuvenate the body. Deer placenta has been accepted as the premier source of placenta. Deer is considered to be a “higher order” animal, and deer placenta very closely resembles human placenta chemically. It is extraordinarily nourishing and is completely safe to consume. Jing and Placenta To appreciate placenta, you have to understand Jing, our fundamental life force. Jing is the primal energy of life. It is closely associated with our genetic potential, and thus is intimately associated with the aging process. The quantity of Jing determines both our lifespan and the ultimate vitality of our life. We are given a certain amount of Jing by our parents when we are conceived. We deplete our Jing through our living. When we run low on Jing, we show the signs of aging, and when we run out of Jing, we die. Because of its original role of nurturing new life, placenta is considered to be the most profound substance for replenishing Jing. At conception, Jing of the mother and father merge and become one within the new fetal cell and this new life takes up residence in the womb. This united essence creates an energy which forms the foundation of the new human being's life. It is called pre-natal Jing. During pregnancy, the fetus relies upon the mother to nurture and protect the pre-natal Jing. The placenta is the source of this nourishment. Taking deer placenta as a deep Jing restorative supplement is like plugging yourself into the wall socket and recharging your life battery. Deer placenta provides, or promotes the production within a human being, certain substances that have been shown to have a profound positive influence on the aging process. Deer placenta’s complete amino acid profile is extraordinarily close to that of humans. IGF-1 and Hyaluronic Acid IGF-1 is a protein that promotes tissue growth and organ health. Because of the IGF-1, placenta may be used as part of your diet to help maintain a healthy blood sugar level. Almost every cell in the human body is affected by IGF-1, especially cells in muscle, cartilage, bone, liver, kidney, nerves, skin, and lungs. Beneficial effects of, IGF-1 may also include regulating normal cell growth and development, especially in nerve cells, as well as cellular DNA synthesis. IGF1 mediates most of the growth-promoting and metabolic effects of growth hormone. Our body's demand for IGF-1 never decreases, but aging is accompanied by a loss of IGF-1. As our IGF-1 levels decrease, the physical exuberance and vitality that accompany youthfulness also recede. IGF-1 is a natural constituent of deer placenta, where it is found in high levels (IGF-1 is also found in deer antler). It is assumed that the deer placenta IGF-1, being a very large molecule, when consumed orally, is digested in the small intestines and broken down into amino acids and other components. The complete set of components provided by deer placenta of the IGF-1 may be used by the body to enhance innate human IGF-1 production. And deer placenta is rich in hyaluronic acid, an essential component in many tissues of the body. Hyaluronic acid helps to support healthy skin, eyesight and joint function. A 150 pound man has roughly half an ounce of hyaluronic acid in his body, one third of which is turned over (degraded and must be re-supplied or re-made) every day. New Zealand is a major producer of deer products. The government of New Zealand demands very high standards of animal husbandry. New Zealand is free from the major animal diseases found throughout the world. Its pristine environment contributes greatly to the health and vitality of New Zealand deer. Nutra-Life Deer Placenta imported from New Zealand. 60 Capsules (2 month supply) for RM249. Limited Stocks This natural, one-a-day deer placenta supplement is sourced from healthy New Zealand deer. Taken regularly, it provides a rejuvenating tonic that may help to replenish and restore Jing (the “essence of life”), and support healthy ageing. Because deer placenta has a very similar composition to human placenta, it is considered to be highly compatible with the human body.
