Hi ppl, My name is Charlie and I'm a new member here and its about time well more of it feels like its the right time for me to propose to my girlfriend of 3 years, the love of my life. I need some advise because I don't know anything about buying a ring and I've done some research and I'm still a bit lost and there's a lot of jewelry shop here in Malaysia. My budget is about roughly RM10,000 so my question is from where can I get the best bang out of the money that I'm going to spend? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance and have a a good day.

Dear All, I know this topic has been posted several times but I can see that they were all at least more than 2 years old. So I hope someone can really help me with this. I am Malaysian and I am planning to ROM with my fiance (Thai national) in Thailand at the end of this year. I understand that I need to get the certificate of single status from JPN. My question is, do I need to sign a statutory declaration at the district office (I am from Perak) before going to JPN in Putrajaya to get the certificate of single status, or can all this be done in Putrajaya alone? If anyone has done something similar recently, I would appreciate it if they can share the experience and the steps involved. Previous posts were very confusing, with some saying I need to fill in forms, some saying I only need to go to JPN. I hope someone can help me here. Also, I am currently working in the UK. Does it make a difference to the registration process? Please help. Thank you. Best wishes Puppetmy
