Siow fui 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 Plan to buy one Maclaren stroller. But the price really very expensive. Is the stroller very worth for money? I saw most stroller is without the front bar. Is the cranky and active baby can sit inside safely?
stpeiyee 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 u can add on the front bar, as an additional accessory.maclaren is good, coz it's light, durable and can be umbrella's folded, which makes it easier to fit into ur car boot and can be checked into flights as well. however, the absence of front barrier make it a concern for most parents. please bear in mind dat maclaren strollers come with 5 point locking harness so ur child can't climb out of the stroller at all time unless u do not buckle ur child up.i myself is using combi urban walker. initially i wanted a maclaren, but somehow hubby prefer combi coz it looks more sturdy to him. She switched to Maclaren Quest and was very happy about it...Maclaren Quest is only for baby 3 mths onwards right?
Cas 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2010 I'm still not even over my first trisemester but i've been researching on baby strollers already, lol. Definitely looking at the Maclaren stroller coz I really like the look of it. Esp the pink one if it's a girl! I came across someone's blog who mentioned that she bought her stroller for 20% off at www.mybbstore.com That's a pretty good savings already so maybe you girls could check that site out. fluene 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2010 Not sure about other models, but I have been comparing the Peg Perego and Maclaren twin stroller. To me, the Maclaren seems a bit 'unsafe'. It has got hinges where fingers might got caught and resulting in injury. Perhaps this was why the some Maclaren strollers were recalled in UK few months ago. The Peg Perego's is safer where there is no hinges.
