darlingangel 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2009 I actually picked croquembouche for my wedding cake. It is made by stacking little profiteroles (a kind of choux pastry or cream puffs) on top of each other to make a pyramid. What my caterers will do is after the cake cutting, they will disassemble the profiteroles and pack into a cake box for guests to take home. Simple and easy (but of course cupcakes are just as easy too!)

~*pepper*~ 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 juanil, ling~t0t is cheaper than wondermilk for the 2inch cupcake, but wondermilk has the 1.5inch ones and are cheaper that t0t's 2inch (coz they are smaller)so do u think a 1.5inch or 2inch is better?
beautifulgown 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 ~*pepper*~,If in term of price I will go for the cheaper one but if you want to have more decor 2inch should be the choice.1.5 inch can't give much decor but with a simple one.ahh wait wait, what do you mean by 2inch and 1.5inch, height or width!? look into your budget, which 1 more economical to you =)
~*pepper*~ 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2009 coz i think i wanna have the cupcake tier during church session.so maybe just about 150 cupcakes in 3 tiers will dothat's why i think the 1.5inch (diameter, width) will do.
beautifulgown 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2009 ~*pepper*~,I see, 1.5 (diameter) is kinda small and not much decor you can have on the cupcake, but if you are ok with it and price more economical, why not leh!?look at what decor they can have on 1.5cm (diameter) cupcake, so that you have an idea how you want it to be. =)

Anyway, it's still up to you on which size you like, dear. If the price for 1.5-inch is cheaper and yet you've got the idea to deco it, why not? Cheers! Yvon 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2009 www.yummiesbyaudrey.blogspot.com is a great option for those in the Klang Valley. I had my cupcakes done by her for my wedding. I only managed to taste one but I was happy with the texture of the cake and the sweetness level. i found cupcakes tidier to serve and easier for ta-pau if cannot finish
