Bought my bed last week, which will be arriving tomorrow. So the whole of this week I went shopping for Bedsheets, not knowing that bedsheets for my 12" Queen Size mattress was so so so difficult to find.............

Finally went to Speacialist Centre John Little at around 8.45pm on Wednesday, as they were closing they were setting up for the sale that starts on 16-18 Sept.

Finally found a Rose Quilt Cover Set (my in-laws insisted that we get RED colour) and bought a plain white bedsheet to match seperately. The Quilt Cover set was at $259 but discounted to $155, to me it was quite a deal considering the quailty & lovely design of it but my heart felt very pain lah.............

To all that might be considering of getting new bedsheets..............

I think there is brand here, its just generally more expensive and limited to certain brands only.

I still thought can just buy the normal crazy sale bedsheets, at the most $60. I also blur blur, ask the sales girl to recomend as ots my 1st time buying.

mei you leh............. why why got sale arh??? My bed is 12" in height not all brands have bedsheets of 13" and above leh.

So far I buy mine from King Koil, they have 14" so fit just nice.

Can someone tell me what is the threadcount (tc) of the bed linens from Aussino?
I'm looking for something between 400 tc to 600 tc.. i don't like sheets that are rough and hard... needs to feel buttery smooth :P

So far, I've only seen them overseas, selling between USD$40 to USD$60 for 400tc, while 1000tc are selling at over USD$1K.... *pengsan*

i once saw a bedlinen in Isetan 500tc selling for RM900 for queen size sheets. comes with 2 pillow cases. 1 bolster case. bedsheet and one quiltcover. . Can't rmbr the brand.

i'm using the brand Garcia and Cavelli. available at Takashimaya (SG) and Isetan. Super smooth. i have Aussino bedlinens for my wedding. i dun really like it la, but rough...

TC - i'll go home and check la. If i'm not mistaken, it's 400TC. dun remember. price wise... eh, mine was for King size. the whole set - quilt cover, 2 normal size pillow cases, 2 super size pillow cases, 1 bolster case, bedsheet, cost around SGD 400.

Aye gal, US should have lots of choices. no need to come back and buy la. My mum used to love that brand Canon. still does la. the bedsheet already as old as I am, still using le albeit thinner already...

yea i dont need all those bolster covers, and comforter covers here are usually sold on its own, not with the whole set...
My mom already bought me silk quiltcovers and shams from China as Kah Chong. Just need the bedsheets and pillow covers.

oh... they do sell seperately. not in a set. we mixed and matched our own colours. by the way. my mattress is abnormally thick and the sheets fit very well. unlike the aussino one.

I just bought 2 pillow case by Akemii (500 Thread Count) RM39 and Quilt Cover Set by Jean Perry (300 Thread Count) RM198, both at Jusco yesterday.

Wanted to get blooming bed sheet as well. Maybe next time.

Can anyone tell me? If we buy comforter, the quilt cover suitable to cover comforter or not?

when you buy a comforter set, you do not need to buy quilt cover anymore. you only need to buy quilt cover only if you have a quilt. quilt is almost like comforter but most quilt is in white color and will need a quilt cover to cover it.

it's just an individual preference on whether to buy quilt or comforter set. for myself i prefer quilt over comforter due to storage. another reason is, for quilt when i want to wash, i just need to take off and wash the quilt cover. but for comforter i got to wash the whole things and it's bulky...

btw, if i remember correctly jean perry have TC higher than 300 too... but it also comes with a higher price tag...

i use aussino quilt. what your friend said is true. ikea quilt is different size compared to aussino. i have bought quite a number of quilt cover set and notice there is slight different on the size on the quilt cover depending on brand. but then again i can still use it with my aussino quilt but not for ikea quilt cover though...

I just bought my quilt, from Jean perry, i select satin quilt. Its very soft, got 30% discount..hehe..Isetan have great sales for Jean perry until 2nd July. Hurry...I bought the Qiult cover set, pillow from Jean perry as well. Really love it....

You mean bed sheet? if yes, silky type I think should be able to get from Aussino or Akemi.
Isetan and Robinson got mostly the cotton type, which is the 'hotel quality' tyepe.

I have bought mine sometime around March in Parkson, 1U. It's nice and very sweet, two tone (purple and light purple) with embroidery. If not mistaken, bought it for about RM600 and the quality is good and smooth with threadcount over 400, i think and it fits in 11-12'' matress.

I love buying bedsheets and quilt covers from Aussino..... haha.... the designs and quality are GOOD.... i love their kids design.... hahahaha.... im using their kids design quilt covers and bedsheets.... hehehe... my fiance also canot tahan liao.... hahahaha... but duno why... i just love the kids range... hehehehe....

and got 60% on the ROYAL SYMPHONY dark red bedsheets (plain colour with flower pattern)

Still need to buy 2 more pillow case (rm55) and 2 more bolster case (rm40each) from there...should be goin for the ROYAL SYMPHONY range again. quite exp for 300 thread.

i jsut bought my quilt cover set, bed sheet queen size, 2 pillow cover..cant remembe the name but damn cheap and cooling. RM333.33 after 70% discount from Rm1110k. Its grey and purplish with embroidery...
oh yeah its plus silk as well..damn worth it.

I would have bought the champaine color as well if had enough money...one more thing its 500thread count!

Wondering there is bolster case sold at Aussino? Is it plain color? Please let me know what are the colors they have if you happen to go again. As i am in overseas now, no time for me to scout for boster case when i'm back for my wedding. Once i know Aussino has the color i want, i will just go and grab it. Anyway, i have bought my RED bedsheets and need a bolster case to match with.

yes they do have RED colour bolster, range up to RM40 each. I found different shades of RED, but different thread count too.

not sure if they have GOLD, should have like brown-biege that may/maynot suit you. Good luck!

I just bought bed sheet from Jusco member day sale last week cost me between rm 160 to rm 180. Akemi.King Size. Heard that it is confortable...some more it is after 70% discount...haha

May be you can get it during 1 utama Jusco member day sale on this coming oct if not mistaken..save a lot ler
