I found different shades of RED, but different thread count too.not sure if they have GOLD, should have like brown-biege that may/maynot suit you. Good luck! candeed 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 You can find those with higher thread count in KL eg :Jean Perry, Akemi. Expect around RM400++ for King sizeI just bought 2 pillow case by Akemii (500 Thread Count) RM39 and Quilt Cover Set by Jean Perry (300 Thread Count) RM198, both at Jusco yesterday.Wanted to get blooming bed sheet as well. Maybe next time. Actually, a year ago I bought an Akemi Quilt Cover Set for RM959. It was claimed Jacquard Cotton and 450 Threadcount. I was so disappointed. The colour was red and when I washed it in cold water washing machine, my entire washing machine became red in colour. Be careful if you buy Akemi even the expensive range. However, last week someone from this forum recommended me to a website called www.happysheets.com and I bought a bedsheet for the first time online. It is much finer and smoother than the local brands. I think their brands are imported. Maybe you can also try them, at least the colour stays!

I was just going telling someone about this website called www.happysheets.com. Some of their designs are quite cool and I already bought a set from them so their quality is very good. Go for the Bursa brand.

aisumomo 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2009 i love Akemi Haute Couture collection.500+ thread counts, Sateen weave, 100% egyption cotton.Love the crisp smooth feel of the sheets @___@i still prefer buying plain solid sheets and buying a different quilt cover set to match it rather then all printed.think the contrast of solid colours and prints make it more classy
Yvon 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2009 Just wondering. I've seen those on cheap sales 70% off and such like Jusco member sales or warehouse sales. Are they reliable products? There were these Akemi pillows that were going for RM10 recently and they seemed like a steal but they were too soft and after short term usage, they flattened. Also for beds, there are all these sales recently. I saw adverts by Sleep Studio. Any experiences with this place? Thanks!
