maybe you can let us know your area ?

i send mine to a montessori based as i feel kids should be learning through play at this age.

15mo is not that young anymore, just the right age to be learning how to socialise, share toys (no matter how impossible, it should always start as early as possible), learn to respect rules, schedules. i love playschool, i mean, sending my kid to one.

but finding one to take in a 15mo is not easy. i managed to talk my way through. thankfully, kiddo's an angel (or pretends really well like one). so he was accepted after a week's trial on both parties.

one thing to bear in mind is, at such tender age, your kid will be susceptible to HFMD and it comes in different strains. apart from the usual cough/cold/flu/fever cocktail mix.

i see proximity to house as very important. i dont fancy my kid joining me in the daily bumper-to-bumper. their hours should be spent either eating, playing, resting or just exploring. not stuck in the jam.

food is one problem to me, but i provide my own food, regardless if my kid has bad eczema. once i saw the papaya going bad in the fridge. and i doubt if they have separate knives for meat, vege and fruits. and different chopping boards for that matter.

other than that, most playschools are generally ok, unless there's issue with a certain staff.

Maybe we can try to send the children to TASKA or Day Care for child above a year old so that they can learn to how to make friend and play properly. Because through playing they can learn a lot. Playing also can stimulate brain development.

there is one kindergarten with H.U.G.E. compound for the kids to play in damansara heights.

i passed by it one day, sorry i couldnt recall the name of that kindergarten. my friend's brother used to study there when he was a kid, but that was like 20+ years ago.

i can try to ask her when i see her online.

actually bangsar have quite a lots of playschool like Julia Gabriel, The Children House, Beacon , etc.

i personally went to TCH to have a look and make some enquiry abt the programme and the fees. TCH is the montessori playschool , for 3+hrs, mon-fri..

i like this school, but the fees was too expensive. and i did a survey , the fees range for bangsar area is rm600-1000/mth.

But there is one thing i dont like abt the school is , too many holiday, TCH follow Malaysia school holiday + international school holiday. (and of course we have to pay the fees even it's holiday.)

i have their broucher too. if u wish to know more abt the fees / school hour / programme, let me know and i will scan it and email to you.

One thing you have to take into consideration when sending to playschool is the food that they serve. Do try to pack your own food and I like to buy those packed DL milk because I just don’t trust the level of hygiene they have with the milk bottle and all…

I sent my daughters to "You n Me" SS15, subang Jaya. Is a right brain learning center. They are doing holistic development. But they only accept 2 - 6 years old students. They are also running fun learning concept

My son is 34 mths now. I plan to let him go to play school next year. Original plan was when the 2nd child out (now he is home with my MIL as bb taker) but he is getting mroe n mroe naughty becuase of boredom. And 3 yrs child immune is better I think, now is preparing him with the cod oil.

i m thinking of sending him to montessouri school. I like thier approach. The only thing I worry is later on when go to primary school, he might have cultural shock. Any mummies here have experience to share?

I plan might be montessouri for 2 yrs, final kindergarten at normal school, then prepare him to primary one. But is it too frequent for him to adjust to 3 environment within 4 yrs?
