not able to pregnant?~

Recommended Posts

Dear ladies / BTB / MTB,

Make sure you gals went to do a check up called pelvic ultrasound for your future.

I just did the test at pantai hospital bangsar cost me almost RM 300...~ & I'm so disappointed about my results, the doc said i'm very difficult to get pregnant. What's wrong with me??? Why cause me that?? What cause me that??? When came out from the doc's room, I cried... whenever I think about it, my tears will roll down automatically.

Anyone can introduce a good doc for me? or any medicine to eat? I want to get pregnant as soon as possible, as my husband loves kid very much... I pray so hard and kept trying but failed.

Is there anyone happen this to you?

Please comment.. Thanks~

Best Regards,

Joanne

Sorry to hear about your situation. The dr should tell you what is wrong. When there is something wrong, there will be ways to overcome it. Those with unexplained infertility will be more tricky as you can't correct something you don't know.

Anyway, do look at my thread here. http://www.malaysiabrides.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2305

My story has a happy ending, eventhough it took so many years. So will you. Have faith.

Before you start beating yourself up, what did the doc say is wrong exactly? The pelvic ultrasound is just an examination like ECG, x-ray and etc. He should tell you what you have and what your options are. Not just say you cannot get pregnant - that is, IMHO, a bodoh doctor.

Yep, do get a second opinion. A doctor must cleary tell you what is wrong in a manner that you as a layman can understand. The doctor must also be able to give advice on what remedy measures are available. Did you do the test at your regular gynae or those 'health screening'. What expertise is this doctor?

To share with you, I had some 'neck problem' and the GP advised to take an x-ray. The radiollogical findings (x-ray) was that I had something which was very scary and possibly lead to total Paralysis. Went to a Orthopedic / neck specialist and he said it was sore muscles / stress related and he sees a few cases on a weekly basis esp from 'financial professionals'. That was more than 2-years ago. Sometimes, x-ray findings or even other types of screenings are interprated differently by the radiologist (or specialist concerned) and you will need to see a different sub-specialist. In your case, it would be a gynae or another gynae.

A friend of mine, the wife had the case of 'luar rahim' (can't remember the term) and had suffered a miscarriage before. Her first gynae (a lady) was not sympathetic and told her that 'she can never get pregnant'. She changed 'gynae' and the new 'gynae', a male was more supportive and said 'don't worry, you can get pregnant, just need to take more precautions'. Within 2-years, she gave birth to a healthy daughter. I can't remember her new gynae but I believe it was at DSH, an indian doctor.

again, I went to university hospital to do the blood test for day 2 and day 21. Conclusion what i got is, not able to ovluate. Now, the doc advise me to do another check up, named tube- x ray. The doc said might be some blockage. Why nowadays doctors not able to give their professional advise to us? Why need to waste so many times to this & that test, and at last no conclusion. it's just wasting our money and time for them. I think i better go for chinese doc. I rather pay more to see him. Anyone heard about this chinese doc named Lee Chun Hsin? I heard from mum said that one of her colleagues went there and the 4th time she's conceive.

Now, i'm waiting for my menses to come, if after 2 weeks still no, then doc said need to take provera again. How i wish to stop all those unnecessary medicines. Anyone here can give me advise how and what am i going to do??? thanks~~

I never heard of pelvic ultrasound could detect that a lady cant get preg. For accuracy , u shud visit a gynae for scanning.

hi Joanne,

Maybe you should get the doctor to diagnose the cause of your problem. Most of the woman who has ovulation dysfunction are caused by hormone imbalance. I think your case should be due to hormorne imbalance too as the doctor is giving you provera to take.

Besides taking that hormone, maybe you can also take some health products to condition your body. Not sure whether you had heard of a product named Shuang Hor, there are people who successfully concieved after consuming the products for a period as it helps to ammend the body condition and balance the hormorne. For me, it improve my pms so much that I hardly get the symptoms.

Also, it's important to also exercise and also to stay happy as emotion can also affect our body health, especially woman.

I don't wish to undermine the doctors at University Hospital. But do bear in mind that they are a (partial/full) govt hospital. I feel that perhaps they wont do the most thorough tests until perhaps one by one, each tests have been done. How badly do you want a baby? I have PCOS, and have been trying to get pregnant for the past 1 year. Lastly I went to a private hospital, and the doctor diagnosed me with PCOS, and I chose to straightaway do a laparoscopy and he did all the relevant tests which pinpointed all the problems I had immediately. I did the lapo in January. And just today, I tested positive on a pregnancy kit. Seeing my gynae tomorrow. I feel that if you are having problems, go see a fertility specialist, not just any regular gynaes. All the best.
