SDMC - which doctor support natural birth?

Recommended Posts

Dear all ,

I am looking for a gynae in SDMC who support natural birth. I am now close to 18 weeks pregnant and have been with Dr. Vigneswaran since the beginning. But I feel that he is more supportive in C-sect rather than natural birth. I am worried.

SDMC is the choice because I stayed in USJ and it is near.

Hope someone can share some contacts or experience.

SDMC Male doc Dr Fong Chee Kin - natural birth, no induce, no epidural, no pain killer.

He has a clinic opposite SDMC open on Tues & Thurs evening and Sat noon.

I was with Dr. Vigneswaran also for both of my pregnancies, and he is very supportive with natural birth, except for my 2nd baby, since I was bleeding already which was why he suggested c-sec.

Why did you say he was not supportive for natural birth?

Like Escudo, I delivered my gal under Dr. Vignes as well and I thought he is supportive to natural birth and breastfeeding? Don't think he'll suggest c-sec unless you have some complication.

I have an induced delivery bcoz i have already dilated but show no sign of contraction. Plus am already overdue at that time.

I highly recommend Dato' Dr Ang. He recently gave me a pleasant labour experience. Friends of mine were surprised I looked so happy and cheerful after delivery.

Dr mak is the best gynae ever. Very patience and can sit hours with you to explain and make you understand any sort of issues. He has a clinic at Kuchai Lama. Supports natural birth and breast feeding too :)
