Dear all brides-to-be,

Recently I came across with a photographer/videographer from KL.

He has quite a number of portfolios stated in his website and most of them are great works.

But after I gone through a few surveys... and I found out that he actually steal some of others' work(eg: Charles.com.my and MotionInStyle.com)

I have reported the incident to the said company and they are shocked to find out that more than 1 video was stole by this company.

I hope that all the brides to be are aware of this cheater.

Below are the details of the person(I am not sure whether I am allowed to post here or not, just trying my luck)

How can we verify this? I don't see any complaints from the original vendors...

i post this to create awareness for not being conned by him. Our wedding is only once in a lifetime, I don't wish ppl to get framed by ppl like this. I also wish that my wedding will turned out to be prefect, and memories are well kept. If he cant do what he has posted, will you feel regret for hiring him? And there's is no more redo in our wedding. We cannot redo it anymore...

Btw, He already remove the clip...

Yes, I know all of this. My friend's photographer also got her work stolen by another photographer who claimed her work was his own.

But you just post like this, how do we know you are not someone with a grudge towards him. Sorry la, not that I want to offend you but you make an accusation like this, must show some proof la....

Just be careful when selecting your photographer / videographer.

Try to go to their studio to have a look at a number of their portfolio.

If possible, try to meet the photographer/videographer in person.

In order to see that, ask simple questions like:

Did you do this yourself?

How did you do that?

Why do you stand at the angle and why?

If the person can answer all the above without any hint of hesitation, the chances are he/she is genuine.

Usually companies that are set up with a history of satisfied clients can show you works from a few years ago as well.

Newbies who don't have proper portfolios, unscrupulous and trying to impress to get jobs usually will suck other people's works their own.

This situation happened to myself and several of my fellow professional photographer friends before. Felt sorry for the clients who booked these "bad" guys.

Con-men PG's stealing other people's works and declaring it as their own is nothing new. A lot of these con PG's even had the cheek to copy and paste top PG's works from Western Countries into their own website!

Their intention is: As long as you are impressed and dont know that you are actually looking at other people's works...you will give them your hard earned money and hire them to be your PG. Hehehe....but at the end...when your actual day photos come out..you will regret it big time...as they are nowhere near those impressive photos you saw in their website.

Angelsim is right. a Wedding is only once in a lifetime. You can't redo it!! :sauer2:

Alas, this is the world we live in. (perhaps this statement is true everywhere EXCEPT for Japan. Note that there were no rioting / looting etc during the natural disaster)
