Marry Lim 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2012 Hi, I wonder anyone have any wedding dinner at Oriental Pearl Restaurant, Bukit Jalil Golf Club before? I wish to know how was the food, ambiance & service over there?
DANIEL LEE 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2012 Marry...it is one of our fav venues! Food is very good. The location is easy to find. As for the looks....it is nothing like a 5 star hotel of course but it is the typical chinese restaurant style.
aralC 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 Hi Marry, I'm considering that place as well since I want to make things convenient for all my friends as we stay around that area plus I do not want to burn a hole on everyone's pocket by having some luxurious wedding in hotel. I have been there twice for wedding personally and the food is quite good, service is so-so (typical chinese restaurant type), no pillars in hall, lots of parking and decorations are quite old. However, I heard from a friend of mine that they had renovated the place recently and its looking better than before, had anyone went there after their renovation? If you are talking about their hall upstair...yes...no pillars. But the ground floor resturant has 4 huge pillars. ouch!

I'd called them to clarify the renovation but they said no renovated for the hall. My wedding will be held at Ground Floor Restaurant, so definitely got pillars block the view. But for me, I love the ambiance is nicer. For food tasting, is ok. Hopefully on the AD, will remain it.

Raccoonhouse 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2012 We went to the Bukit Jalil to see the venue 2 days ago,the staff call 'Ah Weng' explained and show us hall and the environment around the restaurant. He is a patient, helpful and well explained all the information we ask.For the restaurant and the hall(Langkawi room, due to only 10 tables we planning to invite) our reserved looks old and not renovated,it needs to hire decorator to make it nicer on the AD,but the hall size is what we want .The price of the food reasonable, but dont know about the taste and portion as we never dine in there.Parking area well enought for our guess and is FOC! Overall is good but need improve thier deco and the dining setting(they use serviette instead of napkin to set up the table, what i dont like yet not elegance!) lenaho 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2012 I was choosing between this restaurant & the one in puchong. Finally end up with Puchong due to the convenience of location for my guests. You should try & negotiate to include the napkin into the package. Otherwise, ask them how much extra you have to pay.

lenaho 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2012 Hi Marry Lim I have choosen Imperial Palace Restaurant, the one with the Neway Karoke upstairs. I regret a bit lah...I've booked the small room but it has 2 big pillars that will block my guests view. If you are booking big hall, then it looks quite grand. Since my guest size is small, I have to book the small room. Fortunately, it has 2 TVs that will be hooked up to the projector & stage in front.
