lovequeen 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2007
lovequeen,
i would like to see the pic too.. how much she charge?
was thinking of getting something special for the wedding favours, maybe i can consider to have cup cakes.
by the way, what is her name? u only stated the phono no but no name there

Hi ogosdream, rosayee! Her name is Angeline and she does cupcakes, normal whole cakes too... I've seen some of her grandparents anniversary dinner pics, she sliced some chocolate cakes into rectangular shape and wrap in aluminium foil and added ribbon and some other nice touch to it. It's simple yet elegant. I have all my wedding pics CD at my mom's place... will go back and take them and upload this weekend for some viewing pleasure.. hahahah... Let me see if I can find the little leaflet she made the last time. Then you'll see the types of cakes and prices. As far as I can remember, she makes good carrot cake (with cream cheese as toppings, moist and good!!), moist chocolate cake, banana cake, orange, pure butter cake, marble, coffee mocha cake and you have a choice on toppings! One thing I'm very comfortable with her baking is that she uses good quality ingredients like pure butter and flour, as she bakes mostly for close friends and family. She has a full time job, so she bakes as her hobby coz she enjoys it!! For wedding favour, she charges RM 2 each for a cup cake, minimum of 100 pieces or RM 3.50 for 2 cupcakes (a pair), minimum of 200 pieces (100 pairs)... pure butter cup cakes with toppings!! For 300 pieces and above, it's RM 1.50 each, pure butter/ marble cupcakes with toppings! Okie, will probably get her to send me some pics too, if she has any. jamieoh 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2007 hi everyone! i'm getting married next year and we're having the whole event at indulgence. i'm looking for someone who can do a wicked tiramisu for our wedding, preferably someone around the ipoh area. i know indulgence makes awesome tiramisu but i'm just shopping around for options. would a tiramisu cake be able to be be tiered or would it be too soft? tymin 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2007 Hi Jamieoh, I'm from Ipoh and I do homemade cakes to sell by orders. Tiramisu is one of my signature cake. It's a soft cake, so I don't think it's suitable to tier as wedding cake. By the way, when is your wedding next year? Anyway, you can PM me if you are interested. hi everyone! i'm getting married next year and we're having the whole event at indulgence. i'm looking for someone who can do a wicked tiramisu for our wedding, preferably someone around the ipoh area. i know indulgence makes awesome tiramisu but i'm just shopping around for options. would a tiramisu cake be able to be be tiered or would it be too soft? My cake was part of the package from Bankers Club. I don't think they cost that much, otherwise they wouldn't have agreed to do it as part of the package. I just gave them pictures of what I want and they proceeded to make it for me. It was still not as nice as I had wanted it to be, but oh well :P Still tasted pretty good though... jaunty_niel 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2007 chihuahua,ic, dat cake certainly looks very grand. rm1500 for a 2-tier cake is slightly too high i guess. with the money we can get 3-4 tiers already. maybe you can show other bakers who r specialists in baking wedding cakes the custom design, and let them quote u the price. with the money saved, u can get roses to flood ur engagement..haha.. fusionista 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2007 It depends on what's inside the cake too I guess...That cake looks simple and nice, but that's the trend you see. That's probably fondant icing too, which costs a lot.If they make it with buttercream, might be cheaper?
