elaineganMACLAINE 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2008 With this surprisingly new directional change in the parliament, people are now wondering if it is for a good cause. Our PM has surely made efforts in the last few years, to gradually omit corruption and improve social issues, BUT i somewhat think he isn't as bold or authorative enough to bring Malaysia out of it's nest. He may have solved many major issues, but what about the minor issues that matters more to us? Who will rectify it?Compared to other developing countries, we are still 'backward', such as: Education system, Career prospects, Safety system, Road systems. On a positive note, Malaysia is still blessed compared to other war-proned, poverty strickened or famine nations. But if we continue to compare ourselves to these nations, we are just never going to grow.Though our PM will not quit, i still don't think he'll make much of a difference with this statement: “I give you my word, ladies and gentlemen, that I will continue my efforts to strengthen Umno and Barisan Nasional, to launch the manifesto that we have promised so that our country will be safe, peaceful and properous (selamat, aman dan makmur),” he said- The Star newspaperWhat do you think? Will this change bring new light to our nation?
fluene 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2008 I agree with Dr. M. The culprit is Pak Lah's son in law, Khairy.http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/79523I think the worst thing about Pak Lah in this election defeat is that he can't even defend his own homestate.
