Culinary Creations: Sweet stuffs!

*nod nod* and credit should go to my HB.

I'm just helping him to prepare the ingredients, like cut the chinese sausage, red onion (shallots), shrimp prawn into cubes and he will handle the yam part.

And the fry things all done by him and I prepare the flour mixture for him and tell him what to do, then later steam for 45 mins =)

A lot of work but we are happy about the result =)

Today is my first attempt on making chai kueh.

It comes out with this pinkish + purple-ish skin, reason!? HB told me at home got tapioca flour but actually is SAGO flour and I just mix it without checking >.< luckily it still taste okie =P

I make some zui kueh yesterday but haven't upload as I need to try another recipe again tonight =)
