stanley

I don't even have an oven how to bake buns ler :P . It's just dinner rolls which you can buy at supermarkets or bakeries keke I just put a slab of my homemade garlic butter and sprinkle some cheese and zap it up in the microwave oven. Easy meal

bunnyangel

Was back at my parents place for a week so make full use of the oven lor since at my ILs' house I have no chance to do so. The wedges I just coat them with my paste mixture (flour, paprika powder, sugar, salt) and sprinkle some olive oil over them. Voila!! but before that need to just boil the potatoes first so that while in the oven, it cooks faster. Otherwise the skin would be burnt to bits :P Oh ya I just bake them for about 20 mins or so at 180c

mummyally, great tips you gave... boil d potatoes 1st, shorten baking time... cos last time when i used to bake potatoes, have to bake for an hour... ah, used paprika? Hm... i'll look for it next time... wanna try using new seasonings... I hav an electric steamer...it's a gift when FH+me moved into our house... but i only used twice, now it's collecting dust in d cabinet :P I still find it more convenient to steam using my wok.. maybe cos the steamer isn't BIG enough altho it has 2 steaming layers... maybe im too lazy to clean it afterwards :P

juicehoney, why you quit chilli? haha....ur Hb is very funny, so spicy he still ate his meal. Actually i'm not good with spicy food la... okay-okay only... if we go chinese restaurant n eat, we hav little plate to put soya sauce, garlic, n chilli padi right? FH will hav garlic+chilli padi+very little soya sauce. Me? The chilli padi already chooped into tiny pieces right? FH wud prepare for me my usual style: I wud have 2 tiny pieces chilli padi, and they wud be swimming in a pool of soya sauce :P FH will say, "Aiyo, better dun put la, no difference" :P

FH also dunlike waste food... that's why he got fat la, cos i cant finish my food :P Haha... as deco only, that's really funny... yaloh, sudnt waste like tat lo.... i cooked curry chicken a few times using those pre-packed spices... n that's the maximum spicy-ness i can tolerate... anything more spicy, i cannot take.... so i think ur super spicy tomyam soup.. i wont b able to eat.. will end up like ur HB... mahyuncheong lips.. :P

Bunny: Sometimes really mafan to have one electrical thing for one function. Like blender, juicer, have to wash and store.. Electrical Whisk? U mean the mixer?Tat day i found one elba brand with stainless steel bowl at Parkson seems cheap and durable lor.. RM140 like tat. Hb said.. hmm.. can buy, but wait for sales la .. faint.. now i got to use hand to knead if i wana make bread again lor. Like he said la, can use hand ma, last time oso dun have all this electrical thing, people oso can make bread? Then i tried in front of him la, knead for 25 mins, he see me so san fu, ask me no other thing can replace Mixer meh? hahaha :D Gud la, not take too spicy food la, not gud for health .. Now my this tomyam is very mild.. I must add in the leaves and lemon grass to enhance flavour, else not nice as tom yam at all , u can take one hehehe.. Till hb oso feel not spicy, asking me, y add too much of water ah ?hahahha

juicehoney, actually for me ah, the electrical things i need, i dun hav, those i dun really need, i hav... haha... yeah, after i moved in with FH n started cooking/baking a lot.... realised i need to hav mixer, food processor, pasta machine...... those RM140 for a mixer sounds okay to me... erm, think i need to go electrical shop and see how cheap i can get... cos so many things i wanna buy.... then i can make n create more new dish... without mixer, when wan to make bread, so difficult la... knead until hands so tired....

Bunny:the mixer is my aim now .. But i oso duno shud i have another one seems so waste money hor.. Maybe i will give to my sis lor, for mixer cake batter ok la, if knead bread, fast to get spoilt.. Still no news from Cosway branch tat i send for repair ah, oredy 3 weeks! :o But to tell myself, anything use hand to make (like beating egg white) the bread/ cake will be more tasty, then i wont mind to knead with hand la hahaha
