Hi all Mamas,

I am thinking in order to avoid any mama engaged with a bad and not responsible CL, maybe we should make a list of those bad CL, list down their name and contact number, so everyone can refer to the list when they want to engage with a CL. Those who had bad experience with their CL can list down for all mamas reference.

What do you all think?

hi all, I just delivered my baby 3 mths ago. The confinement lady I hired is very good. Her age is around 50+ , she is very good in cooking. She cooked averagely 3 dishes for me every day for every meal. She is not that calculative person. Before I hire her, I did contact few confinement lady, normally all only cook for mother, and do everything for mother and baby. If u want confinement lady to cook and wash your hubby's clothes, must add money.
But this aunty I told her, nobody cook and wash for my hubby, then she did all for my hubby without adding money.
And she is hardworking too. Normally confinement lady will clean the kitchen only after they cook. but this aubty clean the whole hse for me EVERYDAY! FYI, I was breast feeding my baby during confinement. AUnty wunt wasttin time, she will go and wash the diapers when I breast feed my baby during midnite.

My hubby fetched her to my hse one nite b4 I discharged from hosp. When she reached my hse, she checked all the things in my hse. This is my 1st baby, so alotsa things also I duno and I also duno about the chinese pantang larang. So, after she cheking all the thing, the things that I didn't buy, she asked my hubby to bring her out to buy all the needed things. She even brought her own special pot haha....

The last day when she was here, she cut one box of the ginger foe me, garlic one box, and clear the chicken and cut all for me (just bought from market). She said she prepared all so that I can use it when needed.

The most important thing is the price also reasonable. My hubby and I also very appreciated her so we gave her additional angpao of RM300.

In conclusion, she is very gud la. I am very lucky that I hired her.

Dun misunderstand, she got no re/ship with me ;p and I wunt get any commission from her . Just that I know wanna find a good confinement lady really difficult, so I just wanna help :)

If anyone of u interested, can PM me, I can give the contact no. to you.

Hi,

Can forward the contact no to kwongjee79@gmail.com

THanks.

Hi everyone!

Just an update from my previous post in Sept. I had engaged a CL called Madam Lee from Zenmom. The process to book had been pretty easy, but was a bit worried whether the lady was any good after hearing some of the horror stories from this forum. I was relieved from Day 1. After my hubby called her, she immediately took a cab directly to the hospital to meet me and my family. From there she went home with us. She took charge of everything, from preparing some really delicious meals, and just making sure I didn't have to run around. She was really supportive of breastfeeding. She also advised my hubby to buy the necessary ingredients so that she would have everything on hand.

During the day, she barely rested, from rushing around my meals, helping with with my laundry, and attending to a crying baby. Yet, she always has a smile on her face and makes for a good companion. I am not sure how she does it.

I have just completed my confinement and already missing her help! I wanted to extend her, but she is so fully booked that she couldn't take it on. I am one happy mommy :-)

Hi,
can u recommend d CL to me? Thanks.

Item(s): Oasis™ Bed Bath System - Shampoo Cap for Confinement use-Good news for mother to be. No rinse hair wash[COLOR=red]

Shampoo Caps / Bed Bath Products Posted Image
Special Rinse-Free Formula Solves Hair Washing Problems

Wash hair in one simple step without bowls, shampoo, conditioner and water with the unique pre-impregnated shampoo cap. Simply warm the shampoo cap prior to use, place on head, covering all hair, massage and discard. There is no need to rinse the hair after washing with the Oasis™ Shampoo Cap. The cap can be warmed unopened in a microwave or the specially-designed Oasis™ Warmer.

Fresh and Clean Hair

The conditioning shampoo is released when the Oasis™ Shampoo Cap is gently massaged. The used solution is then absorbed back into the cap, along with any dirt, EEG gel, debris or even blood, leaving hair “towel dry” and smelling fresh.

Reduced Health and Safety Risks

Oasis™ Shampoo Cap eliminates the need for bowls of water around electrical and intensive care equipment; the risk of slipping on wet floors and the need for lifting or moving patients or equipment are all reduced.

Savings on Resources Posted Image

Oasis™ Shampoo Cap offers a practical solution that reduces laundry bills and saves valuable nursing time.
Oasis Anti-Bacterial Shampoo Cap and Anti-Bacterial Bed Bath

This single-use item also minimises cross-contamination risks.

Kind to Skin and Hair

The therapeutic benefits of massage, together with the gentle conditioning shampoo offer frail, ill or critical care patients a far more pleasant alternative to traditional procedures of hair washing.

Oasis™ Shampoo Cap has been dermatologically tested.

There's never been an easier way to help your loves one look and feel better! Comfort Rinse-Free Shampoo Cap cleans and softens hair without the mess and aggravation of traditional methos. Just place the Shampoo Cap on the head and gently massage. The cap's rinse-free shampoo and conditioner does the rest.
