  1. Hi Zeroflower, Perhaps you can try to feed your baby with a little bit of water in between, with spoon. For my baby, it helps. Whenever he doesn't want to open his mouth and eat, I'll feed him a little bit of water (not spoonful though, just a little bit), and he will drink, and continue eating his porridge. But do not give too much because it will cause bloating. And try to give praises if she manage to finish her meal, like crapping etc, just a way to encourage her to finish her meal.
  2. Last time, my baby tend to drink a lot when he was 1-3 months. After every feed of 4-5 Oz, he needs another 1-2 Oz, else he would cry loudly. I asked the paed why it is so, and he explained that it is because the baby's stomach has yet to link to his brain, i.e. can't convey message whether he is still hungry or full. About the vomiting, will it because your baby is bloated? If you are giving formula, do not shake the bottle up and down, because that will create air in the milk. And also the hokkien mee, because of all the strong favouring, perhaps it will be better to rinse it with clean water before giving it to your bb.
  3. Yvonne, perhaps try to steam the pear first? And don't give when fruit is still cold from fridge.
  4. Thanks Mabel for the info. I tried before to mash fresh grapes and Ben likes it. For apple I just use the small spoon to scrape so that it is soft. He can finish half of a small apple. I have never tried steaming the food or blending fruits. Will try it for pumpkin and see if Ben likes it. By the way, will apple cause constipation? For Ben, it is ok. My mum bought the cook+blend machine to cook the 10 grains too. But she makes a diluted one, ready in 20 minutes.
  5. Alright. Mabel, I know you make quite a lot of different puree for Eva. Will the puree gets oxidised after a short while? I know if blend apple it will get oxidised immediately. How about other fruits? How do you make those?
  6. How about Japanese anchovies (white and very small ones) in porridge? I have a blended one, in powder form. My mum will add some into the porridge when it's about done. Any comments for baby (9-12 mths) taking anchovies? So far I have not seen any articles commenting on this but my mum tends to give my bb quite often.
  7. Oh my goodness, she is soooo cute and chubby. How long can you carry her in your arms?
  8. I heard it is good for uterus to constrict faster. There is a kind of Sarawakian food called Kachama, a kind of herb cooked with chicken and wine. That made my fist-big placenta fragment to come out.
  9. I did only once after 6 weeks of delivery (pap smear). After that will be pap smear once a year. Baby is for injection. You will get a baby card with all the injection needed. Doctor will let you know when to get those injection done.
  10. Zinc tablet ? will it coz constipation ? everyday 1 table is it ? Which brand of Zinc tablet? Any recommendation? Sorry for late reply. The brand I have is Blackmores. You can get it from any pharmacy. Can't remember the price though. But for me, after one month the result is noticable already.
  11. I am using detergent from Cosway and it comes in liquid form. Find it good and baby's skin is also ok with it. When Ben is small, I soaked the cloth diapers to rinse the urine first, and then wash together with his clothes in washing machine. One bottle can last for about 3 months.
  12. Bao B, I took zinc tablet for one month, and it stopped.
  13. better stop applying cocoa butter. A lot of ppl used that before and found allergic. I am one of them.
  14. Wow... 5 months already teething. So cute with the two little teeth.
