  1. Do you have rights as an admin/moderator for this forum?
  2. I've been trying to get some help from moderators. I have pm a few of them, it's been 2 weeks but none of them have read my message. Can anyone tell me how to get in touch with them? I just need help with the forum. Thanks.
  3. Hello lydia. I think my kiddo is in the same situation as yours. Before she turned 2, she use to cry whenever any strangers/passerby speaks to the person who was carrying her. When we go restaurants, she will cry when we place our orders to waitresses. When sales person talks to us, she cries. Even when we go visit her paternal grandparents once every fortnight, she will cry before we enter the house. Now at 2 years old ++, there's great improvement. When strangers talks to us, her crying cuts down by 80%. I won't say 100%, because it depends on her mood. But at least we can order food in peace. I won't tell you what to do, as every child is different. I'll tell you what I did instead. I still continue bringing her out like normal. When she cries, I talk to her repetitively, telling her to say hi instead of crying, and those people are friends. She will still cry, but after a while, I guess her focus went to the food and toys more than us people. It takes a whole lot of patience and earplugs to get through this tough time, but for my kid, I guess it was just a phase. Just like now, I am facing another difficult phase where she wants EVERYTHING we hold at the groceries....tin cans, packets, etc....SIGH.

    Maid Services

Hi all, This thread is kind of old....but I'll just 'tumpang' and hopefully get some feedback. I'm urgently looking for hourly maid in Klang (as in Bandar Botanic Klang). Anyone knows any maid services that provides for this area?
  6. Sometimes I feel like kids nowadays have too much to learn and too little time to play. Right now I might feel like its not necessary to have tuition classes when they are so young. But who knows, I might change my mind in future. I just hope my kids are happy kids. Regardless of their grades in school, as long as they did their best, I'm sure it pays even a little to work hard.
  7. hi lkye, How old is your girl? My 18month girl is also drinking anmum, and she has no weight gain problem. I guess weight gain can have many other factors. My girl is also very active, and we also feed her a variety of foods daily (vege, fish, meat, fruits). Overall, do not rely on milk alone to provide nutrients when she starts solid food.
  8. Totally agree with AngelT. Regardless of delivery method, most important is the safety of mommy and baby. It's not like u will have award for delivering natural or without epidural. Not many people will ask you about yr delivery, they will be talking about yr cute baby more! :)
  9. Always keep an open mind to change of plans during labor. Not all induction leads to emergency c-sect, but of course there are cases like these. I too was induced because there is no sign of labor at 40 weeks, and the doc said my placenta started calcifying. He did give me the option to wait for natural or induce. There are risks either way. If I choose to wait, I just have to monitor baby's movement more thoroughly. But I trust my doc so I went for induction 2 days after 40 weeks. Thank goodness I had a smooth delivery, no c-sect. Discuss with your doc on your worries and concerns. Choose a time when he/she is not so busy, or else they no time to answer u. Make a decision that is comfortable for yourself. You can read up info on what to do when overdue. Don't worry so much. ;)
  10. I use Pureen and Nappikleen as well. Most importantly, I rinse the milk stains away, and soak it overnight with a little bit of detergent. Seperate soaking for clothes and diapers. So far so good, everything smells nice after each wash. =)
