  1. Hi gals, I just bought some clothes at this Malaysian online boutique: www.vin-closet.com. It has very nice working and casual clothes. Just received the goods, all in good condition, size also fitting. For a working mum like me, I feel shopping online helps me to save lots of time. I can hardly shop with my baby around. I tried shopping after work, it's really tiring cos have to rush off to the shopping centre and rush with people for the fitting room.
  2. hi mabel, hope u are feeling better. I guess all mums go thru this phase. If your budget allows, and the house hold chores are killing....perhaps u can try to get those "hourly" maids to clean the house/wash toilet etc. it might help ease your burden and so u might not be so tired. I tried getting "hourly" maids to clean my house when i was busy and it did me a hell a lot of help cos i was so tired everyday....with baby, hubby's clothes etc.... household chores can really worn us out
  3. yup, all sessions in English. The physiotherapist can speak mandarin if you ask her questions in chinese too.
  4. Hi gals, For the information of pregnant mums in Malacca, antenatal classes are available in Mahkota Medical Centre. It is for four sessions on Saturday mornings conducted by the Physiotherapist in Melaka. The next session is starting on 24 October 2009. The topics covered include changes in pregnancy, fitball exercise, how to bathe baby, nutritional requirements during pregnancy etc. It is really help and the cost is only RM50.00 for couples including refreshments for the whole four sessions. I attended it last year with my hubby when I was pregnant and it really helped me a lot:) It helped me ease my anxiety about delivery and helped my hubby understand the stages I had to go through. To those who are interested can call the Mahkota Medical Centre, Physio Department at 06-285 2809.
  5. hi fluene, according to my urut lady, those who C-section can go for urut also. They will not urut the wound part but help to tie your tummy in a binder to make us slim faster. Aiya, i didnt know that cos i only engaged my urut day after 3 weeks after delivery. She told me if i urut earlier, can see better results:( for caesaran delivery, i heard ladies are harder to lose their tummies..... for me, i am still using my urut lady. she normally just to a simple tummy massage. she said for those who have natural birth, she will "push" the womb back to place, but not for c-section.
  6. hi jacee. for me i had half body. dunnit to worry cos there's no pain during the operation. the anasthethesian will also make sure your body is numb before the operation. i was scared before the operation but so far no pain. u can hear noises but is okie... however, u will feel pain on your wound perhaps the next day once the ananesthetic wears off.
  7. hi rin, oh, i drank wine during my confinement. does drinking wine interfere with wound healing? my wound got pain, but not those extreme pain like the initial part straight after operation. yeah my tummy still feel numb. according to my gynae, it is normal for it feel numb for a while.
  8. Anyone here who can give me some tips on recovery care after a C-section? I had a C-section delivery and it has been already one month. However, my wound still hurts. Anyone here knows of any thing/food to eat after having a C-section or any special care? My wound is recovering well cos i went to my gynae for check ups. However, it is still painful when carrying baby and moving. I feel quite depressed cos some people say it takes months for the wound to heal, some up to one year. My urut lady told me she still felt the pain during rainy days etc. I feel so depressed after hearing this cos i didnt expect the recovery process to be so long. Anyone here got any experience to share after having C-section?
  9. hi gals, i actually checked with my gynae regarding KY jelly and he said it is okie to use even for women who are TTC. He said it wont' obstruct. But here's the website that i read last time on the lubricants that obstruct pregnancy: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qi...19163658AAt3t7J Anyway, i am not too sure which one is correct - the gynae or the web. Just share whatever infor i got.
  10. hi gals, for the first few months of my marriage, i had been using KY jelly. then after i read somewhere on the net that it's not good for those who are TTC, i stopped using it two months ago. and the good news is this month i am pregnant. i dunno if there's any connection between KY and conception, but just to share my experience.
  11. to gfleng, what i can suggest to u is maybe u can try getting away and going for a few days outing/holiday with some girlfrens etc away from your husband. it might help increase his desire for u. it works for me cos if my HB knows i am going away for a couple of days for work or back to my mum's place or anything, he will wanna ML many times before i go off cos he cant stand being deprive for a few days. And when i come back, he's normally very hungry cos he's been deprived for a few days. So, u might wana try going off for a couple of days just for a holiday and maybe when u come back, your HB might have increased desire for u.
  12. hi mabel, congrats on being preggy, but if i were u, maybe i would still go for a mini honeymoon just to spend time with hubby alone. when the baby comes along....maybe it will be harder to travel to faraway places and have nice chit chat times alone with hubby. thats what my sis told me before she got married.
  13. hi bunny angel, I understand how u feel now, with a new life and no frens to hang out with. just to share with u, i was also like that cos my hubby is from another town. i love city life and shopping but my hubby stays in a kampung. when i first got married and was unemployed, i felt angry and neglected esp when my hubby brought me out with his frens and i felt left out. Sometime,s i would get kinda angry if he went out with his buddies at the beginning cos i had no frens. But just some suggestions from me, try to slowly join some activities outside, then u wont feel so bad for example, aerobics, teaching part time/tuition. if these u cant do, maybe try to do some online activities or a set up a blog. i feel it helps so much better. once u are busy, it helps us be happier and now this has helped my relationship with my husband too. for me, i purposely joined a nearby aerobics class and i bought an SLR camera to take up photography too. here's a hug from me:) faith
  14. hmm, just curious to know, how long does it get u gals to be aroused and "wet"? for me, dunno why it takes ages and sometimes my hubby cant wait. how long as in how many minutes?
