  1. if u still interested to get quote, email me at lim275@yahoo.com..
  2. even if it's RM15/liter is still cheap as for buying tiles, try to get all from the same batch to minimize variations first and foremost a simple list for you to follow for those going to hire more then one contactor to renovate their house. 1. any wall demolish 2. wiring & re-plastering (dusty & messy work) 3. plaster ceiling (very messy) 4. change floor tiles (to avoid floor tiles chiped of by any tools by contractor) 5. re-painting agree with Ray on this..Look 4 diff contractor for diff jobs. Usually if u hired one contractor to do this, they will sub the job to other with commission.
  3. for items 1 & 2, i suggest u to buy the tiles, cement & etc urself. Ask the contractor to charge workmanship only. U will be surprise with the amounts u save. I done this to my house too last month. Item 3 no idea but i can recommend u some one. Item 4 for house wrought iron seem too expensive if ur house is intermediate double storey. I can recommend u contractor too. Item 5 seems expensive for me. I just painted my whole interior for RM 800 workmanship for 22x70. I provide my own paint for cost saving. Anyway, i got irresistible offer of RM 15/ 5 liter container ICI Pearl Glo using ICI staff price. Although the paint is few yrs back nevertheless still usable & shinning too. I suggest u bought ur own paint. u roughly need 13 container only depending of how many colors u choose. Less color choose less container. Say it 13 container ICI paint is 13 x 100= RM 1300 + w.manship is RM 1000. U only spend RM 2.3k using ICI paint. Better than Jotun paint. If ur hse is brand new, basically u dun need cilar paint 1st. If 2nd hand hse, recommended to do cilar painting 1st. Mine w/o cilar paint cos hse is brand new.. Item 6 no idea. Item 7 if u using swing type gate, recommended u to use underground system which long lasting like brand Celmar & MAG. anyway, where u stay ?? PM me if u interested to have more saving for ur house reno.. Cheers
  4. hi survivor, if u read the current rated of the above fridge, u will find that the Mitsubishi consumed the lowest current around 0.8 to 0.9. For Hitachi & Sharp their rated current will be 1.2 to 1.3. I just bought Mitsu Folio W62U too for about RM 2650.
  5. little angel, i feel very sad on wat happening to u now. It's shameful that ur 'ex-hubby' behaving like that...a shame to all of us as guy. Anyway, be strong for your litlle baby. Although it's pitiful for the baby for not having father at her side to grow out but i believe this is the best decision u can do for her. I personally dont't think ur 'ex-hubby' will fight the baby custodian with u since he still posses the oldest mentality in the world preferring baby boy. But he fight with u on the custodian, pls fight back for the baby sake... Dont feel depressed on this fail marriage as it's not ur fault... cheers..
  6. hi everyone, anyone have experience with SCI kitchen ?? Pls share with me.... thanks
  7. I had surveyed some fridge in market... Seem that the Mitsubishi fridge is most saving even better than inverter type.. i checked thru their current rated mostly around 0.7 to 0.9 only compare with other with higher rating.. so most probably will consider it..since made in Japan
  8. thanks everyone for the advise & comments.. actually i plan to work there for one yr then decide either want to continue or not.. Yupe, i knew fri will be crowded in causeway & i dont mind walking across from CIQ, S'pore to M'sia & vice versa... So, any more comments ??
  9. Dear all, I been offered a job in Jurong Island on renewable yearly sontract... The question here is.... Should i go there or opt to stay here with my family ?? If i go s'pore, pros are 1. will expose to oil & gas experience...(better future) 2. I will be able to settle all my debts in less than a year.. 3. I will extra cash to reno my new house.. 4. Pay in SGD.... Cons.. 1. Need to travel back to hometown Seremban every friday after work. 2. Will be away from my wife & children... 3. Will be lonely in s'pore ?? So, need comments from all especially those working in s'pore currently...
