  1. Aik! Paiseh harrr, I thought I read somewhere that you are seeing Dr.Ng in Columbia, I must have mistaken you for someone else. Anyway, good to chat with you, hehe..enjoy your pregnancy :)
  2. Hi BeautifulGown, were you at Dr.Ng's clinic on 5 March? I was there and I thought I remember seeing your name I am seeing Dr.Ng as well. Am now around week 8
  3. Hi Kit, can you please PM me the name so that we are aware? thanks so much!
  4. huh! these people are are really desperate! sigh. Is your friend house very big and attracting attention?
  5. hi people, what do you guys think about safety box at home? The one we can use combination of numbers to lock the box, get a super heavy one, is it good enough?
  6. Hi Ladies, I smiled when I read this thread. I am also from Alor Star but have been working in KL for 12 years. Coincidentally, I am also married to Lim, ahaha! Keat Hwa is also my school but I am much older than you girls :) If any of your friends in AS are keen for actual day photography, can contact me :) email me at j_chen2004@yahoo.com.
  7. Hi people, thanks for the info above. I went to the link to check out, saw somebody posted a comment there, but no reply. It makes me wonder how effective is this so called asking the consumer to complain, but nobody take action. I do realize many restaurants are still charging the 5% government tax, but how do we know if they are qualified to charge? <_<
  8. Oh it symbolizes fertility ah? :o something new to me My wedding is rather simple, without the cake cutting ceremony, it seems like too simple..haha...i hope i can make up my mind soon. Came across once a website there they use real chocolate & decorate it into a "cake" by stacking them all together, very nice but pricey too.
  9. hi girls, my wedding is just 2 months+ away, i have not decided on the cake yet. Just curious, is it worth to spend RM600+ for a 2 tier cake ah? I am still not convinced if we really need a cake, i suppose cutting cake on a wedding symbolize union of 2 person, is it true ah? also, why do we need tier cake ah? it is so much expensive compared to a birthday cake which cost the most RM70 *confuse*
  10. I heard my future MIL said that Pacifica is good with affordable prices. Suitable for chinese type of cooking where you will expect bigger flame and more oily
  11. Hi Jean, My colleague also suggested me to do that, but I am not going to that extent la..not that I really want to jeopardize their business, but more of creating awareness for whoever I can.
  12. Hi May, We get to see their ideas of what we should do to the house, eg, they will propose you to build shoe rack with certain measurement base on the space availbale, or build a divider between your kitchen and dining hall, put a mirror at the dinning hall, how many feet of kitchen cabinet you need, this type of ideas lor. In order to do this, they will draw their ideas on our house plan. We got 2 times of revision on the so called design, seriously i am not impressed with his design at all, I think you can get all this ideas from magazine. Furthermore, when I asked for a breakdown of each item, he said he can't do that for me. When I found out he is not keeping his promise, I aked him if he is defnitely sure of his decision coz he has lied to me, he said he is very sure, not even apologising. So I told him their reputation is at stake, he said ok. So I think it is very fair for my to share my thoughts here.
  13. No worries babysiew, my FH say no need to fret about it, but i still think that it is good to share this info here, good to have this forum
  14. Hi guys, Just in case any of you are looking for a interior design house, please watch out for some con-man out there who lure customer to sign up their package with lucky draw but end up do not keep their promises! I personally encountered one, with Space Matrix, located at Damansara Jaya. My FH and I went to Home Dec recently, we are keen to explore interior design services since we both are very busy with work and hoping that by engaging one interior designer could help us to manage the design and liaise with all contractors involved. Okay, so there are a few packages, the one suits us most is for terrace house, around RM30k+. We can customise the package later to suits our requirement and budget. To "secure" the deal, we have to pay a RM500 deposit, and we will get to see our house layout design in a week. Subsequently we can decide whether to proceed with their service and customise the package later. Everything will go in stages, payment, contract and their design deliverables. To top it up, there is a lucky draw. Since it was already the last day of the exhibition, the Mr Designer told us that we can have the hood and hob for the "lucky" draw and even handed us with the voucher. I confirmed twice with him if we could get the hood and hob if we decide not to sign up the whole package later, he said voucher is already given to us, it means that these items already belonged to us! OKay fine, happily we signed up the deal and paid RM500! Yes, we do get to see the design layout after a week, unfortunately, the designer obviously do not listen to their customer's requirement. After second time of reviewing the design, he still did not do the changes we request him to do on the house plan, so upset! Anyway, you can guess what is the ending. We decided not to proceed since he cannot even take simple instructions (who knows wat will end up to the house later). We called him up and tell him our decision, nicely, my FH asked him on how to redeem the lucky draw, he said he has checked with his boss, they cannot give us the hood & hub if we do not proceed the deal. Well, not that I want the hood and hub since I never intend to have these, but I just got upset about how these people con their client! Just watch out for them guys! I've learnt my lesson today.
  15. I am sorry sy, today only i see your message. The member day has gone :( Is there anything you want to buy? I signed up the facial package for RM1680, it is like a pre-paid phone card, each time you visit the salon for different type of facial/treatment, they will deduct from the RM1680. The advantage of signing up the package is we get discount (5 or 10% - cannot remember) from the normal price. Each session averagely cost around RM100 to RM150, depending o n your skin condition. The shop is at Sunway Mas, just a few shop away from Original Kayu restaurant. So far I am happy with their services and products, my skin has since improved alot :)
