  1. Answer: 1: Sorry, not sure. But my advise is, polish before u do painting. Also, make sure the wall is completely dry (the polish might caused the lower part of the walls to be wet) before painting. Or else, 1/2 years down the road, the lower part of the wall will have like bubbles formed. look very ugly & have to pay money again to repaint. 2. Prepare about RM2K. 3. Depends on who u hire, Indonesian might b cheaper. Probably about RM500 just for labour cost, RM 500 for the paint. But pls make sure the person knows how to do touchups. sometimes they might need to 'sand' the wall or plaster it if it's not smooth. Once u color it, then u can see the un-smoothness of the wall. 4. 4 feet is quite small, y not buy ready made? then u can hv 1 set of bedroom furniture which will be more cost effective. i would recommend Country Furniture @ TTDI. their furniture is solid wood (semangkuk, pine).. sometimes they hv promotion, maybe about RM2K for a set of bed, 1 side table, chest of drawer.. can chk out their catalog as well. otherwise, built-in might cost RM 1-2K i guess.
  2. Beanie, RM5120 is juz for the flight. Got the tickets during the MATF. My trip will juz be italy.. going for 14 days, staying for 12 nights oni, dont reli wanna rush things, so hoping to cover most of interesting places.
  3. I've just booked the tickets to Italy!! RM5120 for 2 persons, return flight. Budgeting around RM10K to spend for the 12 days... haven't planned my trip yet though.. bought a italy guide book for abt RM60... haven't got much time to read it yet.. appreciate anyone's MUST SEE or MUST DO list in Italy!
  4. Ashley, My AD photos are by Photoz, not Armadale. I've sent out to all who has requested for the link via PMs.. Cheers!
  5. sharonpious, i'm not very familiar, actually, juz tat hv been to d'sara ara, hence know abit of the place.. my fav is DesaParkcity lar, i like the place, location, design, concept...as per my earlier replies... bought one when they first launched... tat time can choose which unit we like.. but now we are paying our a** off! bumblebee, yeah ler, how to change the nick ar? hv to create new one? malas! =P actually, in DPC, the conventional terraces has only one exit/entrance hence it's gated.. to hv it guarded, nx time hv to hire own security ppl lor.. but still okie lar.. truthfully, can't reli trust these securities wan ler.. i heard tat with some RM500 a month (dunno which rich man area) still got robbery.. anyways, better than none lor i guess, if still got robbery, can sue the security firm at least!
  6. sharonpious, not sure when's the next launch though.. not abig fan of ara... but i think u can go there n chk it out, drop ur name, then they should be mailing u for any new launches.. am not sure why some housing projects goes by ballot.. bkt jelutong is another one... for 370K 22x75 is very worth the price.. now the price is 530K.. tat's a lot of appreciation! but ... doesn't mean that u'll get to be picked, or the location of the house is nice.. coz dun think u can choose the lot #? chooz, i agree tat the gated guarded homes might hv some drawbacks.... the thing is, quite a lot of ppl still prefer the conventional terrace... (like me for eg..) so it's a better/safer investment.. but.. if u wanna buy & rent it out, it might be easier to rent out those gated & guarded home... for a higher price. the rental for these houses will definitely be much higher than the conventional ones. i think the design of the gated & guarded homes in DPC is quite nice.. won't go out of fashion... another pros is, u won't hv a inconsiderate neighbour, who suddenly strike a lottery & decided to break the structure down, & build an extra storey, extend the front & back... then it reli looks ugly lor! (the entire neighbour hood)
  7. For those who prefer PJ/Subang area, Ara Damansara is a good choice! I love the houses there, but don't quite like some of the finishings... the upstairs family hall is HUGE! one can place pool table there! but tat made the rooms smaller... it's quite a nicely planned out area, it has a very big park as well! i think there are still some plot of lands that hv yet been developed.. if no rush, can wait for new launch, buying developers' unit is much cheaper of course! mid last year, the 22x 75 (dunno the name of the design) is still selling at around RM490K, now it's about RM530K. i heard tat if u wanna buy a unit there, u'll hv to be picked... lucky people who has been picked to buy the corner lot last time the price was oni RM500K.. now it's wat close to RM800K? lucky people.. no wonder rich becoming richer!!
  8. All requests have been sent thru PMs.
  9. like bumblebee, i would suggest Desa Parkcity as well.. you can check out their housing development phases on their webiste.. http://www.desaparkcity.com/ but just checked it out, they are updating their site, so currently nothing there. =P i think it's going to be the next Mont Kiara/Sri Hartamas.. i like their concept and location. they have gated & guarded community landed houses (with condo facilities) brand new, my friend bought at around RM550K. This u will hv to pay maintenance fee.. they also have condos... & landed houses, gated & guarded, brand new, now cost around RM590K onwards, 2 years back it was priced at RM490K (developer's price) i'm one of the lucky owner! =)
  10. jocelyn & m3ow, i've pm'ed the new link to u! cheers!
