  1. Labuan is a very quiet island, and you don't see many people and cars on the street during working hours. The places of interest are not really interesting to me. The most attractive is the nearby islands, but you need to chatter a boat there. If you are lucky enough you get some other tourists to share with you, otherwise the rent is just too expensive to bear it yourself. If you are travelling around with public bus, I can tell you they are never on schedule. One more thing, if you are going to eat outside, do it early. The streets are so quiet in the dark, and the restaurants close early. The most probably you can find after 8pm is KFC and a few kopitiams which are in the process of closing their shops. I'm relating my personal experience to Labuan a few years ago. Hope it helps!
  2. I can't wait to write this down to share with you people out there. Normally I don't have that much urge to share my experience even for good or bad. But this time I really cannot 'tahan' the LOUSY service i received. I went to Beyond Beauty USJ this afternoon to do a mini spa for my back. The person did the spa for me is an aunty, I wouldn't call her a therapist or a beautician as she doesn't look like one, she looks more like a tea lady. Before the treatment started, I laid on tummy with hands under my chin, she told me 'put your hands properly' in a very unpleasant tone. I got so puzzled and I asked her back 'what do u mean properly? how's properly?' She replied in frustrated voice 'put them down!'. The scrub and mask were so cold but she didn't bother to notify me and straight away apply to my back and got me in shock. Moreover, the towel used to remove the residue was icy cold too. Come to the last part, it should be back massage, but I don't feel any pressure at all. It was more like a back rubbing with excessive oil. Then suddenly I got a few forceful hits all over my back. After that she just walked out the room without informing me it was done, and left me there waiting. This was the most stressful spa I've done. I couldn't relax, and got more stress after that. If you ever think of going there for any treatment, think twice. You may get what I got - 'LOUSY SERVICE'!! Not worth the value of money, and also wasting of your time!
  3. Hi Steven.7676, Actually it's easy to make a choice of these 2 places if you know well what you are looking for your honeymoon. I had been to both places, let me answer your questions: 1. Both places are beautiful and have their own distinctions and attractions. 2. I would say Phuket is over Krabi on this, also better price. 3. Both places have activities enough to occupy your stay there. 4. If you are looking for happening accommodation, you should go Phuket. I found that hotels in Krabi are kinda quiet. Unless you stay in Koh Phi Phi, the hotels there are pretty happening. And Phuket has more options on seaview and spa resort. 5. You can take Khao Lak Beach into consideration. FYI, if you are thinking of a more tranquil honeymoon, consider Koh Hai/ Ngai. It has pristine beaches and not so touristy.
  4. Hi, I think 10K is quite tight for 2 pax to travel NZ and OZ, the money is pretty much use up for flights. It's hard to relate you the experience as you didn't specify which parts of the countries you are interested to visit. As you know OZ is big, and NZ also divided into north and south island. Nevertheless, both are great places to explore.
  5. Do check out my honeymoon photo, and I would like to hear your comments. Click "I Can Answer" button to write comment, simple account registration required. Thanks to those like the photo and left a comment!!!
  6. No, the price is determined by the album type and no. of pages, not the no. of photos. You can design the layout of your own, you can squeeze as many photos in one page or just as few as one. May be you should take a look at their album ideas to have a clearer picture.
  7. The comments from my friends for Universal Studio are positive. Plenty of things to do and see, nice at night too!
  8. Mabul island is a nice place to unwind, and is famous for muck diving. I bet you never got enough for just 2D1N, right??
  9. Anyone has any recommendation on nice resort in Boracay??
  10. You can fly to Melbourne, there is flight to Bora Bora but not direct. There are 2 stop overs/ transits in Auckland and Papeete in Tahiti. That's the shortest route from our end of world.
  11. There was a protestion showing emotions on the street in Athens CBD when I was there. Some shops were being attacked including the McDonald's in Syntagma. They just showing emotions of dissatisfaction to the government, and they wouldn't attack tourists. So it's pretty safe actually according to my experience. It's nothing comparable to Bangkok.
  12. I put my baby in the carrier cum car seat. There is an adjustable head support comes with it so I used that to secure her head. She was fine along the 25mins journey.
  13. Hi berrymelon1437101, where are you going to dive? I like Sipadan too, I'll be diving there this September. And I supposed to dive Manado last month but unfortunately due to the flight schedule changed and I couldn't accommodate with the new schedule, thus my trip cancelled. But I'm so excited that I might be diving Red Sea in Sharm El Sheikh and Dahab in October if the condition permited.
  14. If you just go Guilin and Yangshuo, 4D3N is enough. I would recommend you to do self-service.
