Bandar Sunway, Selangor; 11 February 2008…. .“ Fairy Tale Realized – A Bridal Affair 2008” organised by Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa is set to embrace and celebrate a mirage of wedding inspirations and ideas. This much-anticipated annual bridal showcase will highlight an extensive range of bridal fashion, exhibits by wedding professionals, bridal services and other wedding resources, scheduled for Saturday, 12 April 2008 and Sunday, 13 April 2008 at the newly refurbished Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. The two-day event will be open to the public from 12.00noon to 7.00pm.
The Bridal Fair provides every opportunity for attendees to browse and be enticed by an amazing collection of bridal accessories. Whether contemporary or traditional, wedding specialists at the Bridal Fair 2008 will be providing their first-hand experience, expertise and stamp of creativity to the wedding party. The event will see over 40 exhibitors and six (6) fashion shows daily showcasing bridal gowns, formal and evening wear by local and regional designers and the unveiling of Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa's 2008/2009 collection of bridal packages and programmes.
In 2007, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa hosted 200 wedding receptions that included weddings by the Chinese, Malay, Indian and Western communities. These wedding receptions ranged from a private affair of 30 guests to a grand celebration of 2,200 persons.
