evelyn82 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2011 Hi, all. Yesterday I went to register at Klinik Kesihatan which is nearby my place. They did the blood test for the first time visit and the nurse mentioned that every month visit they will do the blood test too. Nurses were quite friendly and many people visited. I spent around 2 and half hours there. This week is the 13th week, doctor did scanning and I saw my baby turning around and shaking the small hand, so cute~~~. The nurse said next scanning will be on 24th week. At the end, I got the multivitamin which is free of charge, and the whole service is FOC too. If you still remember, I had bleeding on my 9th week and I wanted to defer from my current semester for my study. So I went back to the specialist clinic that I received treatment to get the doctor letter, the doctor charged me rm75 for the letter. I think that is too expensive and I feel that the dr is quite money-minded. The fees for normal visit (just scanning and prescribe Calcium) cost me RM150- RM200. I am thinking to change gynea as my husband also want me to deliver in private hospital. Anyone of you checking and planning to deliver in Sentosa Medical Center? Do you mind to share the charges? bebee 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2011 Dear all, Indeed I'm planning to deliver in Penang GH. Wondering anyone of you intended to deliver in GH too? However, I didn't go for any check up at the gov clinic. Anyone knows the procedure? Forgot to inform that I'm in 25 weeks pregnancy now... hope it will not be too late to do check up at the gov clinic now...
Ryoko 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2011 Hi Bebe, Congratulation! Welcome to mom-to-be.. Well, i will deliver in GH too. I registered at clinic kesihatan which nearby my area around 12th week of my pregnancy. I think should be ok to register now for you but you better ask the nurse first. The procedure is simple, register yourself at counter then they will give you a pink book and appointment for check up too. All you need to do is just attend the appointment they set for you. evelyn82 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2011 Hi. I walked in on last Thursday, Dr Lam and Dr Liew both fully booked. So i saw Dr. Yoga. I am not sure is it because of the first time visit, there is a procedure charge cost RM100. But his consultation fees is RM50. He is very cautious and he explained when he measuring every part of baby. I am thinking to visit him for next month and see how's the charges. Have you heard anything about him? babyeclipse 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2011 Hi everyone, It's been so long since I last logged in. Silly me, couldn't find the Sign In button when they changed the webpage . Am just waiting for my baby to decide when she wants to come out. These last few weeks are my only complaint throughout my pregnancy. Didn't suffer any pregnancy symptoms, but now am having water retention/ bad swelling in my legs. Luckily blood pressure still normal, so my gynae said nothing to worry. I am not sure if it's true, I've been taking a lot of milk (fresh milk and powdered formula) throughout my pregnancy, and have been told that it's probably contributing to my baby's weight. Baby is now 3.2kg (my gynae is expecting her to be about 3.5kg during birth), very big baby, am worried it could complicate things for me during natural birth. Just to share, 2 weeks ago, baby was 2.6kg (gynae expected 3kg at birth), and 1 month ago was 2kg (gynae expected 2.7kg at birth). Any of you noticed or heard of such thing that milk will increase baby's weight so rapidly? To all mums, happy pregnancy and to all jan 2012 expecting mums, 10months of waiting is finally near. Can't wait to meet my baby soon!

cheerio 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2012 hi, finally i am in my first trimester. as in how far off i am in my pregnancy, i do not know. went to see gynea yest due to blood stain and scan showing my baby is 6 weeks but taken into consideration my delayed ovulation, i should be in my 7 weeks now. Baby's heart beat isnt very strong as well but the gynea not seems to be too worried. guess she isnt expecting the baby at that size would have a very rapid heart beat i guess. can mummies share with me your experience on this, as i start to have panic attack when i sit down and think why my baby is smaller than expected? prettyhoney 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2012 hi guess, i din have any breathing problem in the 1st trimester but i did have some pain on my tummy..i think its bcos of the constipation tat caused yr colon pain. i din have any constipation problem till i was pregnant. i din know i was preggie tat time and i took medicine for constipation. its normal to have constipation due to hormone change in the 1st trimester. not to worry bout it. if u have bleeding problem, better seek medical help. skye 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 cheerio, so sorry to hear that babe *hugs* i totally understand as i had a miscarriage after i open this thread way back in july. I had to go for D&C as my baby died for 2 weeks inside me but wasn't being expel out. Doc advise its safer and better to go for D&C for me so thats what i did. The days leading to the D&C was the hardest for me to handle emotionally and i cried sooo much. please do be harsh on yourself. You did do anything wrong ... sometimes it happens. Like mine heartbeat was strong and good but still ... and if the baby is not healthy its better now than have a stillborn right. That would hurt even more as you have bonded with your baby even more. Do have a mini confinement at home after the miscarriage and after that take some time to heal. Doc's advise is try again only after 3 months for western and chinese doc say better to wait 6 months for our body to heal before we try again.
