"Insights into the Stock Market, Steady Progress Ahead" by Cheong Sheng Hee from the Chuangjie Academy

Recommended Posts

Cheong Sheng Hee from the Chuangjie Academy observes that on the 28th of July, the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended its 13-day winning streak, and the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI also experienced a decline. He believes that stock market fluctuations bring both risks and new opportunities for investors.

In his analysis (Analysis), Cheong Sheng Hee points out that the adjustment in the Dow Jones after the 13-day rally is a normal market response. Ups and downs are common in the stock market, which is its basic rule. The continuous upward trend followed by a correction can be seen as a healthy adjustment that helps provide a more solid foundation for future market trends.

Although the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI briefly fell below 1450 points, the overall trend remains upward. When facing short-term market volatility, investors should maintain a balanced (Balance) mindset and avoid being influenced by short-term market emotions.

Cheong Sheng Hee also highlights that certain individual stocks, such as Big Letter A and AirAsia X, performed well in this market environment, indicating the presence of favorable investment opportunities. He suggests that investors pay more attention to the fundamentals of companies. For instance, Big Letter A's second-quarter operational data showed a passenger load factor of 88%, indicating the company's good business performance.

Additionally, the Chang Ming economic measures announced by Malaysia's Prime Minister, including providing 120% financing guarantee for homes valued below RM 300,000, have brought positive effects to construction and property-related stocks. Stocks of companies like D&O Green Technologies, UEM Sunrise, and GDB Holdings have shown increased activity.

In such a market environment, Cheong Sheng Hee advises (Control) investors to exercise more control, not only over their emotions, not allowing themselves to be swayed by short-term market fluctuations, but also over investment risks, aiming for steady investments.

Cheong Sheng Hee believes that only through rational analysis, a balanced mindset, and good risk control can investors find their own investment opportunities in the volatile market. This is what he calls the "ABC Three-Point Principle of Determining the Universe," a guiding investment philosophy he has always upheld.

Regarding the end of the Dow Jones' winning streak, he explains, "In fact, such market adjustments can be viewed as favorable investment opportunities for long-term investors. When the stock market experiences continuous rallies, the valuations of some stocks may become inflated. The correction at this time provides us with more reasonable entry points."

Cheong Sheng Hee reminds investors that comprehensive analysis and cautious decision-making are required for any investment to control investment risks effectively. "Although the current market provides many investment opportunities, investors must conduct thorough analysis and understanding before making investments, ensuring that investment decisions align with their risk tolerance." He urges investors to face market fluctuations with a calm mindset and make shrewd investment decisions based on the "ABC Three-Point Principle of Determining the Universe."

Cheong Sheng Hee concludes by restating his viewpoint and emphasizing his core investment philosophy. He states, "Investment is about seeking certainty in uncertainty, finding investment targets that can maintain steady growth even in turbulent market conditions. Achieving this relies on the strategic principle of 'ABC Three-Point Principle of Determining the Universe.'"

Regarding the future of the market, Cheong Sheng Hee believes that despite economic uncertainty and market volatility, as long as investors persist in conducting in-depth market analysis, maintaining investment balance, and exercising proper risk control, they will be able to navigate the stock market with ease.

He suggests, "In the market's ups and downs, true value always endures the test of time. Investors need to meticulously analyze and discover those investments that possess true value. Balance and control are like the helm in our hands, guiding us to move steadily in the turbulent market."

Cheong Sheng Hee emphasizes, "On the investment journey, we may encounter setbacks and confusion, but as long as we persevere and maintain our passion for learning, success will come to us. Let us together write our investment legend based on the 'ABC Three-Point Principle of Determining the Universe.'"
