  1. Hi,

Can't remember the very detail of the package cos i kept the receept at home, now working outstation.

But i negotiated for altogether 50 poses, plus bigger album ( 2 medium size album, cos they got basically got 3 sizes large , medium and small ), don't think need the large one, so instead of 1 large and 1 small, i choose 2 medium, and the " niang jia photo" for 2 - 1 big, 1 small, instead of only 1.

What about your package ? Can remember ?

The others remain same ie : 5 gowns, 80 pieces 4R photos.

Hw much was your package ?

    Hi meandhimus,

Haha I can't remember mine too, receipt is with fiance. Mine is RM3688 too.

But wow I thought the 3688 package includes 1 medium and 1 small album? Are both your albums 15 inches ones? That would be a good deal!

I too have 2 niang jia photos I think. And yeah, 5 gowns, 50 poses.. but I got 100 4R photos if I'm not mistaken.. Can always ask for more I guess.

Will wait for you to PM me the details of your package after 2 weeks! I shall PM you mine after my busy period this 2 weeks :)

    Hi cherrystar,

Great to hear comments from you. I got a few friends and a cousin of mine signed up for Casamia. So I wanted something different, if not all our wedding pics will turn out to be have pretty similar background =D

Love Lasposa dresses compare to other bridal studio, so I am pretty in much in between lasposa & Sophia. *decision decision decision*

    Hi Stef,

Yup I love La Sposa's dresses too! Casamia ones are really pretty as well. But yeah if many of your relative and friends went to Casamia, perhaps you'd like to go for others hehe :)

Does Sophia have nice gowns too? If gowns are important to you, you can try asking them to let you try out their gowns before you sign up.. and compare in terms of customer service, and research about their after sales service as well lor. I have a friend who signed up with Sophia too, but never really asked for her feedback. I remember reading in this forum that Sophia has less choice in terms of gowns. Not sure how true. You may research yourself :)

    All the best! ;)

  2. Hi,

I did enquire about their bridal package. Was not really impressed with the photos outcome, but I love their wide range on choices of dresses, from white to coloured gowned to oriental. Can anyone proof me wrong that their photos are great? Any few photos from Lasposa to share with?

    Hi Stef,

I actually fell in love with La Sposa's pictures right from my first time visiting them. Well my fiance loved De Casamia's pictures while I loved Keep Gallery's (at the beginning only lah), and La Sposa was sort of the in between. They can do close up well and take quite artistic pictures as well. That's IMHO lah. Perhaps you can have a look at their website for their photos: http://www.lasposa.com.my/gallery.aspx. You can also check this page out: http://my.signatureweddings.asia/bridal-house/lasposa.html.

Hehe sorry for my biased comment, just trying to be loyal to LS cos I feel I should have signed with DC.. oops! =/

Oh I have not gone for shooting yet so can't share my pics with you :)

  3. Hi meandhimus,

I signed up with LS myself hehe :) My first SA was May but when I went in the second time, another SA served me which I forgot her name :p Anyway, what you managed to nego with Alvin? More stuff? Reduced price? Mind sharing with me please? :)

Well I initially was interested in KG as well. But after much contemplation (same reason as you), plus some bad reviews about KG, I decided to forget about them altogether. You may read about what I heard about KG in the KG thread.

Very quiet thread.. no recent Lasposa brides? :)

    Hi,

I have just signed up with La sposa today itself.

RM 3688 package. after much negotiation with aLVIN, guess he is sort of able to make decision type. And the SA is May....friendly gal. No actual wedding date yet.

    Hope everythin go well lar...

Keep gallery's package also not bad...have a tough time choosing.....but i guess Keep's photo too artistic to my liking. Plus i really want to wear the chinese traditional costume, which Keep does not have, so ended up choose La sposa instead.

  4. Dear brides-to-be,

I was contemplating on whether to write this post because some might think that I'm a hater or something, but after hearing this story from my friend, I believe I have to share this with BTBs out there who are thinking of signing up with KG, just so that people would be aware of some matters pertaining to KG.

Well my friend A did not sign up with KG (she signed with WC), but her sister B did. B was attracted to KG by their artistic photography (so was I), plus she was introduced to KG by a few friends. So B did not survey much and just signed up with KG. Her package was about RM3600-4000. Don't quite remember the exact amount.

During selection of gowns, B was served by an SA who simply chose gowns for her and insisted that they were nice. Apparently this SA just insisted that B follow her advice and choose all the gowns that she recommended. A only arrived later and saw the selection of gowns. According to A, the gowns that this SA recommended were downright ugly. And this SA only chose everything from one room when there are other rooms with more gowns. A then insisted that her sister try out more gowns and so they went into the another rooms to look for gowns. A managed to find much better gowns that accentuate her sister's figure instead of showing her flaws. A told B not to take a short dress that the SA recommended cos it makes her look short, but the SA kept on forcing B to take it and insisted that the dress was very nice. So B decided to just take that dress. But all other gowns she chose was not what the SA recommended.

After B collected the soft copy of her chosen pictures as well as all other pictures (as we know, KG gives all soft copies back), she proceeded to send a few of the soft copies for printing outside. I'm not sure why she did that, maybe she wanted more ji mui photos. To her horror, all 500pcs of 4R or 5R pictures that she printed came out blur. According to KG, the soft copies can be printed up to 5R. But the photos turned out blurry and the couple's faces couldn't be seen clearly, especially for faraway shots. A saw the photos and knew that it was a very low resolution soft copy (she is in the designing industry). She then told her sister to ask KG for a higher resolution. Since they said can print up to 5R, it should be clear. You know what happened? B got scolded by a male SA when she asked for a higher resolution! This SA was really sarcastic and kept raising his voice, saying things like "none of our other customers had problems with this, why are you so troublesome? what do you want now? we don't have higher resolution. this is what we will give! this is our policy!". After hearing this from B, A decided to give a call to KG to listen for herself. She was not there with B and thought that her sister might just be exaggerating. Boy, was she wrong. She got scolded on the phone by the same SA with same raised voice and sarcastic comments! A was extremely angry but she had to keep her cool, because she was still in the office and she can't be shouting to the phone.

According to A, the resolution that KG gave B was only 150dpi. I think at the end they managed to force KG to give them at least 180dpi. I asked A whether this resolution was also given for the chosen poses, she said yes. ALL soft copies given back was just JPEG 150dpi.

I did not hear about how the shooting went or how the album turned out, so I will not talk about those.

That's all I'd like to share.. so BTBs please be careful and ask KG properly about the resolution of soft copies that will be given back. I personally think that it is ok for KG to return all other soft copies in 150dpi, but the chosen poses should definitely be in higher resolution right?

And the main point was.. how can the SA be so rude to a client?! I really couldn't believe that KG's SA would be like that.

Well, I immediately made a decision not to consider KG anymore. My fiance and I did not really like their way of photography that gave more emphasis on the background than the couples anyway. In fact, I believe they almost ONLY gave emphasis on the background. They did not bother about ugly shadows on couples' faces (which made faces unrecognizable if it's taken from afar) because they did not spend time looking at which angle to take photos depending on where the sun is shinning. They probably just went, "oh, this background is nice", and then asked the couples to pose there, and then snap. This was the conclusion I came up with after visiting many BS and talking to many professional photographers. This is just my two cents though.

By the way, A also mentioned that one of her colleagues signed up with KG too and she does not even want to talk about her experience with them. It was that bad..

Sorry for the super long post! Hope these sharing can help BTBs out there to be careful when dealing with KG. Oh, and I'm a LS bride now! :p
