  1. Hi all, I am in the midst of looking for gynae.. and went through the forum to look for recommendations.. And my habit is, once i see a doctor which a few MB brides recommend and I am interested, then i will google on the doctor to see if i can see any comments on that doctor from other sites. Haha.. better to double confirm mar.. dont play play or cin-cai on pregnancy stuff :) One of the doctor i googled is Dr Roopi. This doctor was recommended by a few brides. When i google this name, i found this disturbing site posted in year 2007: http://hygen.net/blog/?p=106 http://hygen.net/blog/?p=99 I am not sure if its the same Dr Roopi that was recommended by the brides here... it could be a different doctor with same name. There is also a Dr. Khoo mentioned in the second link, but I am not sure who is that... But just be careful lor hor...
  2. I think moonflower was just trying to express her disappointment over the harsh/cold treatment she received, not because she wanted to tell out her good deeds. Many brides use this forum to share their feelings, happiness, sadness or frustrations. I think it's healthy. I can see from her post that she was not highlighting her good deed (although i felt it was as good deed, as I am a small business owner I do know how much any help would mean to me, and how marketing the right way does make a big difference). She was maybe just simply wanted to greet her and say that she is happy for the shop owner but got the cold shoulder. Maybe she just wanted to find a place to do just that and we can see that she gets some support and encouraging words. Maybe she feels better now. We should give her moral support. Who knows, we all might be in her situation one day. I myself am struggling with my business and wish there are some angels come to me once in awhile. And if it happens, I will be grateful to that person. moonflower, hope you feel better now :)

  4. Hi all, I would like to ask, for brides whose weddings are in the first half of the year, do you wait until the Chinese date selection calendar is out before booking venue? I intend to get married in March 2009, however, they told me that the chinese date selection calendar for 2009 will only be out in Jul-Sept 2008. By then, it is quite late for me to do my planning, esp. booking wedding venue. Thus I am in a dilemma, how to proceed with my venue booking, when the hotel/restaurant need me to confirm a date, and cannot change the date at all in future? Anyone planning for wedding after 2009's CNY facing the same dilemma as me?
  5. am interested.. pls email me... jcjy2009@gmail.com
