Where to buy Groundnut Oil?

Ladies,

I want to make peanut cookies and the recipe request for groundnut oils.

I cant find it la... anyone can advise me ah?

or can i substitute it with corn oils?

Peanut or groundnut oil can be obtained at any of the hypermarkets around. I doubt you can subsitute it with normal oil as peanut oil gives the cookies its distinct peanut aroma/smell.

My mom usually make peanut cookies for CNY and she uses peanut oil as well

Ya hypermarket can get... u check each brand and see which one is peanut oil... if i am not mistaken, knife brand? eagle brand? all shld be peanut oil...

i check with tesco only... dont have.. the brand i'm looking for is rooster brand.

I ask around see got or not they said normal oil also dont have dont said the peanut oils...

i see lesser and lesser ppl want peanut oil...

i think it's also known as groundnut oil or minyak kacang.

try to find, mayb u can get in supermarkets instead of hypermarkets. i remember eagle or knife do carry it last time...

You can use "Knife Oil" or "Hong Ying Yau" they are all peanut oil

Try dun use Corn oil , as your peanut cookies will lack of "aroma"
