mmm .. it depends you can get like RM25 - RM50 per hour. Degree holder can teach diploma, so you can try at those local colleges and OUM (open university malaysia), OUM's classes are at weekend or you can apply to be their online-tutor. Hope this help =)

I have to agree with you on that. First, we must take good care of the first child first before we have the second one. It's a huge commitment tho. That's why me and HB will just start planning next year.

Yes .. not only that .. the medical checkup? and I'm lucky that my medical checkup is covered by uni and I have 1500 to spend but tell you the truth .. may not enuf also =D hahahaha

We spent RM700 for two types of scanning NT and Detailed scan and beside that the mth follow up? all $$

Preparation also need $$ I don't know how much we have spent on the preparation =P and I still none stop online purchase for Violet. haahhah my HB will scream if he saw the items slowly arrived =P he already warn me .. no more clothes for Violet but I just can't help la! =D

m also start survey all the BB's things. Hope that i will not spend too much on clothes or toys for BB in future lo.

same like u, my company also cover our medical fee (forgot is RM1200 or RM2400 per year) but not include maternity medical check up . HB's company only allocate abt RM500 per year (for all type of medical checkup). So, plan to claim HB's company 1 for maternity check up in future & he can use my company panel doctor. like what Juanil mentioned, better than nothing. at least can cover part of the expenses. u know la, at least RM85-RM100 per visit if pregnant. it really a huge commitment.

hahaha yaya .. you can see how much I have bought for Violet .. some parcels are coming in lagi =D hahaha .. cham! and still have some in SG oso .. kakaka .. alamak! if you notice that I added lots of seller at FB too kakakka .. alamak! those clothes are too adorable for gal gal la! =D lolz

If you have anyone pass down to your baby then you can save $$ as now I'm looking for my siblings to sponsor her educational toys and books kekekeke .. mummy and daddy pok kai liau! oh ya .. we have yet to get her stroller and car seat ah! gess few more K flyyyyy

I'm lucky because this is the new policy just implement this year and chun chun ho I pregnant now =) so I think my RM1500 share oled left few hundreds ah! kekekeek .. I went to Dr. Wendy and her charge was okie, normal follow up just RM40 and I will not much follow up with her since I will also do my follow up at sekama clinic (go there after 3pm, no need to wait for too long) and also can get supplement from them like folic acid, iron pill and multi-vit all FOC =P oh .. free injections too =)

recently, m find that Prudential intro 1 product "PRU my Child" >> the first-of-its-kind-plan that offers coverage during the crucial pregnancy and infancy periods, compared to most conventional child plans that leaves the child without any protection during the early stages of infancy. Additionally, certain congenital abnormalities may not be covered under regular juvenile plans. With PRU my child, parents can now be rest assured that their baby will be well protected, even before they are born!

sure will get more info from u next time. Actually m wanna TTC ASAP but HB & family members not allow, all of them said at least need wait till this year end, just to make sure everything okie for me. will go for check up in Aug or Sep this year, just to make sure I'm okie & ready TTC.

Yup, WL's charges is RM40 for normal follow up plus scan is additional RM40 to RM50 (depend on what kind of scan). another RM2 for KPJ's admin charges. (RM5 for 1st time visit if I'm not wrong).

Yeah! Labor charge nowadays need at least RM3k for C-sec! :wacko3: Must save for the future!

First time visit to Dr. Wendy is RM80 then now is RM40 for normal follow up if scan is RM40. Yes extra few ringgits are charge under KPJ but I never know how much =D hahaha because I always pass the bill to their cashier and mention my uni's name then bye bye liau =D hahahaha

Juanil, now c-sec is at least RM5k and above, I haven't check with Dr. Wendy regarding about my labor. I know now at KPJ has a package for nature labor around RM2k for a night stay. Guess after this and that will be around RM3k+ (if it is a smooth labor).

Sandy, you just take a good rest now and eat more healthy food, stay healthy. Do exercise once or twice a week to build up your stamina. To get pregnant, it is always good to have a good and healthy body to carry your baby =) I'm glad that I have done lots of gym activities and badminton before my AD.

Oh yes .. for a newborn really need to spend a lot, we don't dare to calc the amt but we know it is a lot. =D haahhaha it is more than RM10k. If you need to hire confinement lady that is another few more k need to fork out.

yup $$$ =P if GH then is cheaper, you can save your medical check up at sekama then once a while at private or your gynae. =)
