i did meet up with them before signing.. it was about one year before my AD. they were not tat famous yet. so seems frenly n nice... but i really never think they hv been changed after a year... pls la..be professional, show the business ethics ma. u talked about passionate of work... i cant c from them lo.. when i c they said they r passionate on photography, i oso feel they r cheating on ppl.. honestly, photo wise is not as wat i expected...disappointed... from very begining,i hope to hv some couple posing potrait photo... i did mention to Edwin many times about it... but ended up i cant c in my album (cos dun hv ma,whr to c le?out of battery oso a reason to reject my request for simple family shooting, whr got time to shoot le??) ...

ling, i oso dunno y this would happen to me.. beside wat i mentioned in first post: initially, i wanted Edwin to shoot at bride side but before AD, he said is his turn to shoot at groom side. i oso ok with it (cos i afraid if i dun agree later he cincai le,how?)but the result le? what the business ethic he had in my wedding? i stil remember during our dicussion before AD, my hb requested tat we dun want those kissing photo. then Edwin Tan replied very quickly by saying: then nth to shoot olady lo. i was like huh???only kissing shoot is good? other than that ll b bad? my hb is very friendly person, he oso feel disappointed with this photographer's attitude. i thought he was very good also (from Mb n personally think he was before the discussion). but after my discussion, i olady a bit scared sth ll happened in my wedding.. n it proved my feeling was right.. he was not like wat we think.. really feel disappointed...

nono,is not the edwin whom ling talk about..is Edwin Tan. i know he is very well known n hv quite good reputation in MB here but i din get wat i thought he was...

i would like to share my experience here. i was quite disappointed with Edwin's attitude though. I personally think he's not initiative and professional enough. I am not a professional photographer, but i do think there are things that even an amateur photographer should not do. Firstly, they rejected us n told us that they have kept their equipments around 12pm on actual day morning when we requested them to take some more photos from us(as wat they suggested us to take some hengdai,jimui photo after the ceremony finished since we were quite rush in the morning n hv no time to do so). I think it's not difficult thing to do,right?just unpack n make some shooting. In the very beginning, they even promised to bring us to bukit jalil garden to take some photos, but ended up we din do tat oso. actually before my AD. we had a discussion. Stephen was so kind to suggest us for potrait shooting in bukit jalil but i dunno y Edwin was so reluctant n rejected. but i told him the idea was suggested by Stephen, then only he din say much but showed a very not shiok face. So we were quite disappointed that they said that. During the wedding dinner, we need to ask them to take photo after we have done our post. I think they should be more initiative. Worst of all, when requested them to take a family photo after wedding dinner, Edwin showed us a reluctant face saying he had RUN OUT OF BATTERY and kept his equipment. Even quite a number of my friends asked us why our photographer behaved like that. I hardly saw Edwin smile throughout the day, whereas Stephen is more responsive and initiative. He's the one who helped us to take the family photo after the wedding dinner. I know their current price is higher than the price we booked them some time ago. However, i believe they still have the responsibility to deliver what they have promised. it's the right attitude that make a successful photographer. cloud

ling,sorry to hear ur story.. i totally understand how u feel about a non-professional photographer's attitute. i hv encountered some not so professional attitute from my PG during my wedding. its been a few months after my wedding. but i still remember clearly wat was happened. mayb he has very good reputation in this forum but i din get wat i hv seen here...so really disappointed....

o..i know d..cos urs got fuel surcharge. mine is as below: Ticket = 100 Airport tax = 136 Admin = 90 luggage = 20 so total is 346 my ticket is RM25/pax/1way..not dare to wait for zero fare, afraid later increase in price again. cos i planned to go in end may. remember to share more after u back from krabi ya... especially food..haha...

yeah, finally i hv booked my trip to go Krabi!!! i booked ticket through AA for 2 pax cost RM326. n i booked ananta burin resort krabi for 4 nights which cost THB5145 (around RM515). dunno if it is a good deal or not. anyone hv any idea on ananta burin resort krabi? since nobody talk about this hotel in this thread before, a bit worried...

ya,i agreed with sakura. i m JM bride as well. i really so fed up liasing with them. at the begining everything is good,everything oso ok but after u paid the deposit, this one cannot that one cannot. they didnt hv initiative to contact us. until we call but there is always a reply tat they r busy n ll call us back. however this never happened. we hv to call n call n call. on the day of PS, i was there at 930am for make up but we waited till 1230pm only start the PS. wondering y? because one of my gown was LOST!!!! n my PG was late. he appeared in the shop after 12pm n bungkus a rice eating there... we hv to wait for him but he din show any guilty for being late. i think mayb he olady used to it, tat's y he had no feeling of paiseh. after PS, it took one month for me to view the photo. i had my PS in apr but i got my album few days before my AD in dec. actually i told them in very beginning tat i need to collect my album latest by early nov but ended up i got it few days before my AD. again, we waited for nearly 3 months to view the first demo. as usual, it need admenment as well. this again take another few weeks. well, now go for gown fitting for AD. i was really FED UP n wanna to CRY!!! i wanted to make appointment to hv gown fitting in end of sept (i always wanted to make things earlier) but then i was told by my SA not to b so early cos sept is a hot month for wedding, not much gowns to choose, asked me to go in oct. ok, so i accepted. but then when oct i wanna go for gown fitting, she told me it was full until end of oct only she have time to serve me. i was really not happy la. but wat to do?? i went there with excited mood but ended up with tears while going home. i cant find any wedding gown. all tat i chose were being chosen by others..i only managed to try on less than 10 wedding gowns tat not chosen by me. it all sucks!!!! i was so sad. additionally, my SA still blamed me by saying y i go for gown fitting so late!!!!wat is tat????she is the one not allow me to try earlier one le... after tat, my hubby n my father suggested me to rent another gown since i really cant find any. ended up i paid extra n rented another gown in another bridal house. my album oso got problem. they even gave me a faulty album whr was torn off by a side. so i wanted them to change it for me. but was told tat if i wanna take the album out of the shop, i need to make full payment first then after my AD only change for me. ya, forgot to say. that is the second time i asked them to change. first time they simply use the glu to stick it whr make my album look so ugly with the glu n they even worse to 'make' a small hole on it.. i really :S everytime i came out from the shop with the face of . so frens out there, do think twice before signing up with them!!!

Gd day! =) Cat the canopies not cheap either, package of RM500: one 18x18 canopy with scallop+chandalier at the middle of canopy (look quite grand cos they use the cloth to cover up the top of canopy n set up a chandelier in the middle), 40chairs n 5tables with skirting.cover nicely with cloth. another package is RM300: one 18x18 canopy with scallop, 40chairs n 5 tables without skirting, one fan in the middle of canopy..this package is just a simple one whr not so nice la...cos lack of chandelier n chair covers n table cloth..here is the contact: 012 379 5990 and look for Pn Azura.

hi, there is one garden in bangsar seafood garden restaurant in bangsar renting out for wedding use..it can cater to around 300 pax if not mistaken..the rental for the garden itself is around 3k i think. but u need to cater the restaurant food oso. u may try to check out the place la... i had my matrimony ceremony in front of the house,i set up the canopies whr all with scallops,chandeliers,chair n tables with skirting..if u wan the contact,i can give u...i think they hv done a great job..
